They tend to hold the rounds very loosely. You can adjust them a bit by sliding a flat head screwdriver into the slots between the rounds, but it's a temporary solution. They are a somewhat necessary pain in the butt when dealing with a revolver of this type. These are fine for the range, and work perfectly once loaded. If you are planning on carrying a spare loaded moon clip for a CCW situation, forget it. Get yourself some of the stainless steel ones from TK Custom. Pricey, but a lot more sturdy. Or just carry a speed strip and skip the moon clip altogether for the reload. Loose rounds WILL headspace in the cylinder and fire just fine.

I bought these along with a 9mm Taurus snub nose pistol. It works perfect, but wear a shooting glove. It's a bit tough on the thumb!
