Must have for tube loaders
Awesome loader. Would be five stars if there were away to keep it from rattling in pack. Otherwise keep it vertical while you walk and it works great

Good accessories
These work very well with our Marlin model 60’s. They make a day at the range go very quickly and with much fun. I recommend them for any tubular magazine.22’s

Super quick reloading!
If you own a tube fed 22LR rifle, you need this loader. It holds close to 120 rounds, good enough for range day. I have two, one stays with my Marlin 60, the other stays with my Henry Frontier.

The concept is great but 2 end caps poor quality

Great idea but has significant flaw.
Great idea for quickly loading tube fed .22 rifles. HOWEVER, there is a problem with the end caps. The end caps, which have an internal spring attached between them to keep them secured and to allow for loading of the loader, are made of plastic and 2 of the 3 loaders I purchased broke during the first day of use. In both instances it was the bottom end cap spring attachment point that broke. See attached picture of broken part. This would be an excellent loader if they fix this problem.

Works great, until it doesn't
These like to fall apart with extensive use, and why do we buy such items? To use them extensively! A screw and a cut washer will hold the spring in place until the opposite side breaks too, and then I do more surgery on it. The feeding spout also needs some alignment work. Guns used with, Browning 22 SA, Marlin 60, Remington 52/552 Speedmasters, Henry and other tube mag .22LR, .22L, .22 Short, .22 WMR, .17 HMR, basically any rimfire still in production, so no go on .41 caliber or .32 caliber rimfire for all you 172 year old cowboys & trappers out there. Pros: Light weight. Cons: It breaks, with use.

Mixed feelings
Two of the three I ordered were broken. There is a design flaw that is easily repaired if you are halfway handy. It was just irritating. Once I implemented my fix they are bombproof. Wrote to Spee-d -loaded about it. No response.

Poor quality
The concept is fantastic. But the quality is lacking. The top of the loader connects to the bottom of the loader by a spring with a hook on it. The hook fits into a plastic hole at the bottom of the loader. And after several uses the hook cuts through the plastic hole, the bottom falls off the loader, & .22 cartridges spill all over the place. Plus, the loader is no longer functional. I hope the manufacturers will shore up the problem spot on the loader. If the loader had lasting power, I would give it a 5 star rating. But the cost is hardly worth the limited use you get from it.

Great idea but poor quality
I bought three of these and within 2 months all three had broke. The internal springs break free of their attachment points on the lower endcap. Works great until the low quality plastic breaks and the spring comes flying forward. Pros: Works great until it breaks. Cons: Poor quality plastic/engineering.

Poor Quality
In concept, this is a great product. Too bad the designers took a short cut in making the two end pieces out of plastic. I own two, but one of mine broke internally after about three months of use. Recommend they attach the end pieces with aluminum instead of plastic. Too bad, because I can't return it (don't have the receipt) but I will miss the convenience.

Disappointed
I bought this spee-d-loader to replace one that one end cap had broken inside where the retaining spring attaches. The new one arrived with BOTH end cap spring retainers broken. Cheaper Than Dirt took it back no problem; my disappointment is with the maker of the loader who I emailed twice over two weeks ago and never got any response. I ended up using a plastic structural repair glue to fix my original loader. Hopefully it lasts.

I will buy another.
After having it for a short time sure is nice for faster reloading. I have also found that you can line it up real easy for loading / filling and also when full, can place the loading tube between cylinders so ammo will not spill out. Great for filling and storing so ready to go. Pros: So easy to use anyone can use it right away. Cons: None at all..

I have a henry 22 rifle and have been using my Spee-D-Loader with it. I shoot everyday and frequently mostly at turtles in my pond and it works wonderful. There is only one drawback. Do not leave it laying in the hot sunshine for a few hours because the plastic will bow so bad that the ammo will barely come out of it! So that one is ruined but I am ordering a new one and plan to keep it out of sun. Thanks,James

This is great for any tube fed 22. It also will hold .17 HMR rounds for those that own a tube fed 17. When these are available you better get several.

Great idea and product.
Great idea and product. I have 2 of these (15x22LR) and their manufacturing could use a little quality control or a touch of extra design work. Problem: the cap where the bullets exits out of doesn't align perfectly with each tube slot. As it turns from tube to tube, it loses alignment with the worse offender requiring shaking and a little manual force twisting to feed bullets out. I blame the plastic tab placement where the cap locks into place. If a little beefier plastic was used they wouldn't have been forced to use a smaller turn radius. That or their manufacturer had problems with the injection molds. I don't to disassemble them cause I fear reattaching the spring would be a pain. Great product though. One of a kind.I'm marking 1 slot as dead on each tube and searching (and searching and searching) online for the camo belt bags that fit these speedloaders.

Works great with my Win 62A. I can load it up to eight times, all in seconds. Sure beats fiddling with individual rounds through the little loading port.

Greatest thing since slic
Greatest thing since sliced bread! No kidding! Have several of these and just added another to hold .22 mags for my Marlin Bolt Actions. Have dedicated a Spee-D-Loader for .22 LR guns, Nylon 66 to load through stock bullet end first, and one for tube fed semi's, lever, and bolt with rim end first. Easy to load and quick to replenish your gun with maximum rounds to keep putting lead down range. Worth every penny! So easy to use, so handy to keep in the field. You won't be disappointed.

Just received my Spee-d-Loader 129 Round Speed Loader. Bought my grandson a Marlin 22 last year can't wait until he come down in the spring. He gonna be able to load faster than the 10-22 boys. Great product. Fast and Easy to load and use.

This is a great accessory. Really makes loading my Marlin model 60 a snap.

Have purchased several of
Have purchased several of these for different 22 rifles so they can be preloaded to be taken to the range. I will need another now, as I've added a couple of 22 magnum rifles to my gun safe. Loading is straight forward, load your rounds bullet up or down depending on your gun. Tube fed rifles like the Marlin 39A or 60 would get bullet loaded end first. A Remington Nylon 66 would get the primer end first as the 66 is tube fed through the buttstock. Once all cylinders are loaded a simple half twist of the spring loaded cap will secure the rounds and is ready for quick reloads instead of fumbling around with a handful of rounds to fiddle with one at a time. Buy two, you'll not regret it!

This single item has tota
This single item has totally changed my outlook on the Marlin and the Glenfield model 60 - the rate of reload is dramatically increased so much so that I sold my Mossberg 702 (mag fed semi auto) and bought another model 60 at a pawn shop; had to, son wouldn't let go of the first model 60. Its just so easy and simple to reload.I'm up to two Spee-Ds per rifle now; best ~$20 you could ever spend on any tube fed rifle out there. I load these puppies up the night before and as a result spend more time shooting than having to fumble around with reloading. The only downside I've experienced yet is that we go through too much ammo too darned fast. These things are sturdy but not 'rugged' - I imagine if you drop these off a cliff they will fall apart quite dramatically but they are more than tough enough for days of plinking at the range. The directions say that the Spee-D will handle the 17hmr and 22mag/longs/shorts as well, but I've nothing in those calibers.

These are absolutely awes
These are absolutely awesome! I bought one for my Marlin 60, and after my first trip to the range with it, I ordered another one. I love shooting my 60 again. I load them up at home, and when I'm at the range, I get to spend more time shooting since reloading is easily under 10 seconds.

I was a bit disappointed
I was a bit disappointed with the indexing of the loading spout. I guess I expected something better. It is still a good reloader to get a new shooter, back on the firing line.

If you own a Marlin Model
If you own a Marlin Model 60 or any tube fed .22 buy this loader. The only thing better than having one of these, is having 2. Make sure you stok up on ammo, you will need it.

i bought one of these from this site on a tuesday and it was delivered that friday, super service. as for the spee-d-loader itself, this thing is super fast and efficient. i can load my marlin 60 in less than 5 seconds and without a single jam in the mag tube. i should have bought 2 more to separate my hollow points and my subsonic practice rounds. in fact, think i'll do that right now. awesome product.

Like everyone else has stated it works great, but it needs to have the tube openings and the cap opening chamfered, rounds will hang up if you do not do this, I chamfered mine and have had no problems since, thanks for a great product.

Whoever said to buy two was right, logged on to get another, out of stock, darn! Ill get another though. Use it to feed a through the butt stock of a Remington Nylon 66, only holds 14, so only put in 14. Had the Nylon for 33 years, should have bought one sooner.

This thing is AWESOME!!
This thing is AWESOME!! So simple! I now have five!! When my Grandsons and I go to the range to plink with the .22s, we will typically go thru all five full loaders in a couple of hours. We use them with a Winchester 94-22 and a Marlin Model 60 and I even load one with .22 shorts for my Win. 1890 Gallery rifle! We buy .22 ammo by the case lot these days!

This is a great little to
This is a great little tool for loading tubular magazines. My only complaint is that with it only holding 15 rnds, it jips me 3 rounds on my 881 and 4 rounds on my 39A! Other than that I would highly reccommend this product.

I tried my loader last weekend and it worked great most of the time. Twice I had problems because the bullets got stuck. To carry around this thing I just used the canvas sheath of my machete and hung it on my belt. Worked great!

The best idea ever for filling tube magazines but 1 complaint I commonly hear is it needs a belt hanger.... Well I just made a simple loose pouch out of leather to carry it on my belt, but you could use canvas or other firm materials like vinyl... Otherwise 10 out of 10 !

This is the coolest loade
This is the coolest loader that I have ever used. I now own three of them. Nothing greater than sitting on the back porch and plinking at a gallery of targets. Rattle off a few rounds and pour them back in. Smooth as can be. You can't go wrong with this tool. Highly Recommended.

This is a must have acces
This is a must have accessory for your tube fed rifle. For you survivalists out there you will appreciate its portability and capacity..it makes a standard 22 a legitimate defensive rifle and makes plinking all the more neat and enjoyable. I would recommend you purchase two because I'm always lending mine out.

Will this work with a Henry Evil Roy .22 S/L/LR ?
Answer:
Yes it should.
Does this work with the ruger 10/22 magazines?
Answer:
No, it does not. This is for loading tube magazines.
Am I the only one who noticed the bullets coming out the wrong way in the picture above! They need to enter the tube casing first not bullet first! By the way, is there a speed loader for the speed loader?
Answer:
It's a stock image, not the item in actual use. No, there is no speed loader for it.
Does all 22 ammo include 22 wmr?
Answer:
Yes. This loader will hold and load .22 WMR; however, be aware that the capacity will be less due to the longer cartridge.
