Do not buy this. It would not feed the second round. I tried different ammo and same result. Pros: Round capacity Cons: Will not feed second round.

Do not buy this item I purchased two.
As you start stacking the shells into the magazine you will start to notice the angle of the bullet flatten. I started noticing after round 6 . Maximum I could load was 7 on both without it jamming and not flowing into chamber. Mind you they advertise 15 round . Also the grips are free floating upwards so if your doing any fast track training the grip can travel up and stop the magazine from locking in. I tried both hollow point and blunt nose. This has to be the worst magazines I ever purchased. Do not rely on these in time of danger. Your life may depend on it.

just ok
Functions properly, but the grip extension will pinch your finger.

I would buy it again
Works great but too long for every day carry I use it for extra magazines just in case

Would not buy again
Only works with 5 rounds or less, which is less than what the original magazine holds.

These mags are a waste of money
I already bought these mags hoping to add capacity Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 380. When I try them out and found out that he could not fully load them. If you did you have Miss feeds until you get down to about 10 or 9 rounds. Checked out the reviews and tried the tricks that some people mentioned but that didn't work either. Noticed that one mag has a feed ramp on top of the follower but the other one did not. The one with the ramp would feed a little better but you still couldn't fully load the mag. I'm going to ask for my money back. Pros: Adds extra grip length Cons: Can't fully load, won't feed

I'd purchase this again, no doubt.
Fits my Bodyguard perfectly as well as increasing my handling of the piece. It's awesome.

OK updating my last 3 star review. I contacted Cheaper then dirt, they gave me a number to contact Promag, the manufacturer. I had no luck getting to talk to anyone at promag , so called Cheaper then dirt. The rep there said that these are designed to open the slide and then insert the clip. Which I did while talking to him. It worked great like that. So problem solved. I can get 10 rounds in and inserted into the gun perfectly. Still 4 stars because of this. So why doesn't Promag either make th

Gun Jams consistently wit
Gun Jams consistently with this magazine. others say because it loads at the wrong angle but my original thought was the spring pressure when fully loaded was too much causing it to jam. Either way it still jams and does not work reliably.

I agree with others about
I agree with others about the ammo contents. Sure I can force 10 rounds in the clip, but it will not lock into the gun with 10 rounds in. I have to take one out in order for it to work. So this is actually a 9 round clip. If you want 10 rounds, you will have to have an extra round on you and after you put one in the chamber, you have to take the clip back out and put the extra round in the clip. So only a 3 star. I was disappointed that I ordered a 10 round and what I actually got was a 9 round.

Dangerous junk and absurd
Dangerous junk and absurd design. I could only put three rounds into the mag. I think it's too slim in the middle but I will not trust this magazine and returned it. Secondly, it is so stupidly long. It has two finger scallops which make the overall length longer than my full size handgun grips. It would be perfect if it were only a single extra scallop, even if it were minus two rounds (Oh, and it worked).

If you load All 15 it continues to try to feed the bullets downward causing lots of jams. If you feed 13 you only Jam twice with the same issue.it is due to the 1/8th tolerance of the mag wall to the bullet with a low angle feed on the bullets. DON'T TRUST THIS MAG FOR SELF DEFENSE.

I purchased this magazine
I purchased this magazine new at a gun show in October and took it to the range. As the other person stated, after the first round, it failed to fed and did this repeatedly. I wish I had bought it from Cheaper Than Dirt, at least then I could have gotten my money back.

This is a great magazine.
This is a great magazine... on paper. Once I got it and loaded it up it would only take 9 rounds. The actual grip slides on and off, the grip itself is very uncomfortable as well. If this was a 8 round mag and you removed the bottom finger extension it would be perfect. But alas it is not, so two stars it is.

I both 2 for myself and 2
I both 2 for myself and 2 for brother-in-law. We both like the mags very well. The extended grip is nice and comfortable for better gun control. As others we found it worked Much better if loaded with only 9+1 rounds (Not a problem for me). Seems to misfire/jam with 10+1. It wouldn't bother me if the extended grip was a little shorter, maybe 8+1 which would make it Much better for concealed carry and still would be a better grip than original extended grip. Little difficult for conceal carry.

The magazine did not feed
The magazine did not feed properly. It feels nice in the hand and adds extra grip to the small body guard. After shooting 1 round it tried to feed the round in the chamber tilted down.

Used this mag 10 times. The same thing happened each time. There was a FTF with the 9th round, or the 10th. It happened once on the 8th. I loaded it twice with only nine rounds to see if that would make a difference. It did not. There was a FTF on the 9th (the last one loaded). I like this magazine, just know it is not completely dependable.

Overall, the quality and
Overall, the quality and operation are good. The components seem about the same quality of the original 6-round mags. The extended grip works as expected - a lot more comfortable after shooting for a while. After about 100 rounds through these (out of 300 total), I've had just a couple of issues. The fit can be a bit 'stiff' so you have to be very certain it's locked in. Then, topping it off for 10+1 produced a double-feed after the first shot. So, no more topping off.

bought 2 magazines - 1 will only allow 9 of the 10 bullets in it so it can be snapped into place in the gun. The 2nd came with a bad return spring and will jot even load ammunition because there is no tension in the spring. Not impressed with this magazine. have bought others for my sig sauers and not had any problems.

This magazine will not feed any rounds beyond the top round. Every other round will be a failure to feed unless you remove the magazine and re-insert it. Then once again will not feed any following rounds. I have two factory magazines and they have never had a failure to feed. Buy at your own risk.

Inconvenient & totally unreliable. I'll trash these before letting anyone else have them. FTF, FTE, & jamming inside the clip is just ridiculously frequent.

This is the secondary magazine for the .380 Bodyguard that we've all been waiting for. I just put 4 magazine loads thru my new one including ball and hollow point. It's everything I wanted. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Well constructed, the only bad thing is you have to tap the mag pretty hard to get it to seat in the mag well other that that, I ordered two of these mags and they were on my front door step the next day, way to go CTD!

I have shot about 200 FMJ rounds through it, and I have not had a single problem. Pulled it out of the package, loaded it and started shooting. I love it. It gives the gun a very nice feel. It would be a little big to carry concealed in the gun, but makes a great back up mag.

I was never able to get more than 3 rounds to feed without a jam. I tried 3 different kinds of hardball ammo, and 3 kinds of hollow points.couldn't use it at the range, let alone for self defense.I would love to find an 8 or 10 round mag that actually worked.

Liked the fact I could go 10 +1, extension of the grip was great. Bought 2. Had tons of FTF and the magazines kept kept popping out of the grip after firing. I stopped using after a couple of times at the range.

These are fine for practice at the range, but I wouldn't bet my life on one. They are very difficult to insert when new. Time will tell if they will break in. Also they don't have the extended butt I'm used to. I'll use these for range work and rely on OEM S &W for daily carry.

They feed ok. Most of the time, on the last round, the slide will stay open. Sometimes not. VERY frustrating. Also, the mag had a flat bottom. Which has it's positives and it's negatives. It's great for deep concealing, but not so much for shooting. Not the greatest magazines, but for the price, I'll deal with shortcomings. In the end, spend a little bit more and buy S&W mags. You'll be a lot happier.

I was disappointed with the overall fit and finish. Could not insert magazine more than halfway without pressing and holding release button. Seemed to feed ammo alright once inserted. Not the quality of the factory clip.

The idea of having an extra 4 rounds and a better grip was good but this mag gave me nothing but problems. There were only a few occasions where I was able to shoot 3 consecutive rounds without some sort of jamming. With a quick modification to the front, top shells do not jam as bad but I would certainly recommend this mag for the Range Only, Do not use this for self defense!

Product was dead from CTD. I sent it to the factory and received a factory sealed replacement. It too was dead. Will not feed ammo. Tried 4 different brands of ammo and it would not feed. The mag that came with the gun and one I bought online both feed with no problems. Brand new S&W Bodyguard .380.

Yeah, plug 15 rounds into
Yeah, plug 15 rounds into the Bodyguard and you've really got a hot little pistol. Unfortunately, it only holds 12 or 13 rounds. You may find yourself cocking your weapon because the magazine doesn't feed properly. Even then it will jam every third or fourth shot.Come on ProMag. It can't be that difficult for a skilled craftsman to design and make a fine clip for a fine handgun. What can I do to make this clip work in my S&W Bodyguard? Sweet little gun.Great idea for firepower.Poor execution.Help.

I went to the local gun store and the price they wanted was 3 times the amount I paid here for this 1 HCM, the one in the store was a standard 6 round. At the range there were no FTF's, also I found that the added hand grip extension helped my aim because the Bodyguard was (until I bought this mag) a bit small for my hands. The extended length does make it hard for concealed carry but is worth it by all means.

I purchased two of these
I purchased two of these mags to go with my S&W BG .380. They are functional, but not what I expected. The good thing is that they are easy to load and any effort loading your ammo is typical for fully loading a high capacity mag. However, the magazine has a hand grip attached to it and this piece just slips on and off with little effort. So be sure to have a firm grip when loading. Inserting the mag into my pistol isn't as easy as loading the normal 6 round mag. You will have to press the magazine release to insert, and lock the magazine into place. A previous review noted that the magazine will not feed. This is half true and I managed to devise a means to correct most of this problem. The top of the magazine where the ammo feeds into the chamber is not of the same design as a normal magazine and it is only a slight design change that can easily go unnoticed. The ProMag mags have a slight bend straight across where as the normal mags have a slight bend that is angled. This slight bend at the top is what I believe prevent the rounds from loading properly due to the extra force being exerted on all the rounds in a fully loaded magazine and causing the rounds to be 'pinched' at the top. A normal magazine does not have this. I used a pair of vise grips to 'flatten' one end of the bend on both sides of the magazine to allow a round to not be pinched as much. This resolved most of the issue but a fully loaded magazine will still not load properly due to the force of the spring in the magazine on the ammo. But, I did not have any issues with a magazine filled with between 10-13 rounds. So if someone wants to purchase one of these mags be prepared to do a little tinkering. But having 4 to 7 usable rounds extra in a magazine isn't too bad.
