Good conversion kit
I've done several kits on my 1022, I originally bought it back in 1989. This kit added a whole new coolness to it. I added a forward folding tac grip. Folding tac sights, and a quick attach halo. And a short leg folding bipod. No issues with this kit at all.

Poor product
This was cheaply made and did not fit. There is some serious improvements that need to be fixed.

THIS IS A JOKE, LOOKS LIKE A KIDS TOY!
I purchased this POS. When I opened the box I was rather shocked by the appearance, looks like a kids toy. Then when I took it out of the plastic first thing I did was try to fold the stock, impossible without a prying tool. This is going back! I will keep it the way it is instead of bastardizing the weapon.

This conversion is trash and a huge waste of time and money.
I don't use it. It sits in a closet. Ashamed that I did this to my Ruger. Pros: Looks decent Cons: Bad fit, mag well too tight, feels like a toy

Pretty good
It's tight but it's a good. The mold is really light but if you expect to have binary, you'll have to remove safety selector because the fit is tighter than a bus full of nuns

Not comp with binary
You'd have to do some filing down to get this price to be binary friendly.

Coolest conversion kit for a 10/22
Worth the price. Totally changes the look and feel of the gun. Simple install just YouTube it. Pros: Sturdy very durable Polymer

Looks cool, that's about it
I bought this awhile back. Installed it with no problem, went to the range and wouldn't feed correctly. Took it to the gunsmith and they cleaned it. Took it back out to the range, more feed issues. Back to gunsmith they tore it down and went through it. And were able to confirm that with this kit the magazine that comes with it and the others I bought don't set correctly therefore causing the feed 3

Definitely worth the purchase
I would for sure recommend this to anyone that is wanting to change the overall look and feel of their ruger 10/22. I would recommend investing in the mag release extender. It works without it but it gets pretty tricky if you use the included extended magazine. Highly recommend

Fantansic Design ! Well made Promag, read comments
Took me 30-45 mins to break down and put this together if your a hands on guy. Had only to shave a 1/16" under where the barrel and bottom base slides into the front of the plastic stock, (used a dremel or drill bit if your steady handed) Would rather have trimmed instead of the gun shakeing around inside the conversion kit. Pay att. to alignment of screws, has plastic threads but don't worry, long screws provide. Worth the money and not to mention the Look. Unsure about the sites and accuracy. Will mount a red dot on bottom picatinny if it dont turn out to be accurate or set to far out on yardage. As the sites come mounted fixed on the front and back, they look to be removeable with pins and screws. Had to tap out the original front slide in iron site on the factory barrel. Recommend to spray with lube the night before or now if your ordering. My gun has a few years on it and is extremely tight fitted in the front during removal and to tap on it extremely hard. Once removed, either the flash suppressor or the fake silencer slides on with no issue. The front iron sight removal is a must to put the conversion together. I have a tactical quick release already mounted to the gun previous before this purchase that i left on and had no issue leaving while assembly, but you can choose to use the one provided that comes with this kit, which seems to be a lil shorter than mine, and could possibly get the mag out millasec's quicker. My tactical EXtended mag release is about 1/4 of inch from the handle, however i am able to slide my pointer finger in there with no issue and seems to possibly be a better choice for me cause i dont want to accidently hit the release during operation. Recommend this to anyone who is looking for a better/tactical look, or if your 22 stock is beat up and just want a upgrade. It weights a lil more but is right at half the weight of my AR-15 Overall if i get the accuracy down I give this mod a solid 100 rateing

Why will this not work for the 22 mag ?
Answer:
This kit uses specific proprietary magazines and will not work with standard 10/22 magazines. ProMag does not make 22 Magnum magazines that are compatible with this kit.
Will it take a drum and a binary?
Answer:
This item is just the stock and does not include the firearm. The rifle this is designed for is a Ruger 1022 which will only accept 1022 compatible triggers and 1022 magazines. We do have 1022 drum magazines in stock. Check out item # 75571 and MAG-428-336.
Will a Franklin armory binary trigger fit in this stock?
Answer:
The stock has no bearing the the operation of a 10/22 Binary trigger.
Will this fit a Ruger 10/22 Charger pistol?
Answer:
Adding a stock to the Charger Pistol without the ATF approval and a tax stamp would create a regulated SBR (short barreled rifle) in federal violation of the NFA. You may want to consider adding a pistol brace instead.
