Genuine U.S. Military issue TOTM (Tailored Operational Training Meal) are the real deal. We found a small supply of TOTMs from the current Department of Defense supplier. Tailored Operational Training Meals are what Uncle Sam issues his troops during training operations.
A military version of the civilian "sack lunch", each meal provides an 8 oz main entree, a 4.5 oz serving of wet packed fruit, pack of 2 crackers, peanut butter or other spread, desert or candy (M&Ms plain or peanut mostly), beverage powder mix, 2 pieces of gum, salt free seasoning blend, moist towelette, plastic spoon and water activated heater for heating the entree. Average calorie count 1325.
These were part of a huge contract order that the D.O.D. didn't buy all of, so we got to step in and buy some for ourselves. Dates of production are plainly stamped on the top of each case.
