Manticore Arms is well known for the upgrades they offer to the CZ Scorpion Evo line of firearms. This is the Gen 2 Switchback Charging Handle which offers a number of upgraded features over the original factory CZ Scorpion Evo charging handle. This improved design utilizes a polymer lug overmolded onto a precision ground steel rod, and a steel folding charging handle. The polymer lug enables the Switchback to work with aluminum forends without causing any wear on the finish. Based on Manticore's Switchback charging handles for the AUG and Tavor platforms, the handle folds out for an easy grip when charging the gun and when you let the handle go, it automatically returns to the folded position. The handle can be locked into the Scorpion's notch which enables you to perform the classic "HK Slap" to release the bolt forward. Adding the Switchback charging handle on the typical charging side also allows you to move the OEM charging handle to the offhand side, giving the option to charge the gun from either side when required.
