An Less Lethal Alternative for Home Defense

Lightfield is the premier manufacturer of shotgun ammunition. While perfecting the sabot slug in the 1970's for the US Marine Corps, they 'set the standard by which all other slugs are judged'. Innovative designs and cutting edge engineering with both lethal and 'less than lethal' shotgun rounds is what Lightfield is all about. Whether you need ammunition for Hunting, Law Enforcement, Pest Control or Home Defense, Lightfield has a round for you.

This .410 Rubber Buckshot is intended for close range defensive use. This load gives shooters an option not otherwise available in this caliber and can be used as a painful warning shot, but can also be lethal under some circumstances. Now you can control your personal space with greater confidence if you have been reluctant to shoot at another person even in your own defense while providing a greater margin of safety to innocent persons nearby or in adjoining rooms.

The four (4) 0406 dia. balls have relatively high velocity but have very low mass and the available kinetic energy is shed quickly over distance. Some level of injury should be expected and can range from serious injury or death to painful welts or bruising and penetration of the body is possible at close range.

A great alternative.
I used these for bear control. At close range they work well. They drop quite a bit at 50 feet. I am very happy with them. I use a .410 Coachgun. Also have them for the house just in case of intruder, with backup of live ammo.

Don't use in a S&W Governor
Don't use in a S&W Governor, they get stuck, jam up, and very difficult to get out.

I bought these to use in
I bought these to use in my S&W Governor revolver for home defense. I wanted the option of firing first at a home invador without spending thousands of dollars in court costs defending myself for killing someone. I also have rubber bullets for my 12 Gauge. And yes, I have live rounds to back up my rubber rounds!

I have a S&W governor 410.ga 45 ca pistol, I would like to know the fps and ft/lb of this product at 10 ft distance and 15 ft Thank you
Answer: Unfortunately I do not have access to that info. I suggest if this information is of vital importance to you that you chronograph this ammo out of your gun, just to be 100% certain.
