I was prepare for wear being milsurp, but disappointed with overall purchase as 30-40% of shipment worse than I anticipated. Rust on 2-3 of the interior followers may deem them as unusable. All have some form of exterior rust showing, but not a big deal on some of them. I'll buy more, but from some other dealer.

I ordered 15 of these all in great shape. 5 were new never opened, another 5 were new still wrapped but plastic was missing or opened, and the last 5 were opened with very minor wear if any. I will be buying more if I need them for sure.

This is the second order of 10 that I purchased. The first order was pretty much as advertised, on this batch I received 3 magazines still in the factory wrapper, 4 that looked like they had never been mated into a rifle (no scratches on finish at mating points whatsoever) the remaining 3 had the normal mating scratches and a little tarnish on followers from use years ago. I also ordered a batch from a different vendor for about the same price and they were nowhere as nice as the 2 lots I purchased from CTD. Pros: HK manufactured magazines at bargain price.

2 out of 5 because only 2 were as described. I ordered 5 magazines .... 2 were as described, 1 was well worn but acceptable, 1 showed rust and significant wear, and 1 was unusable due to being BENT and would not load more than 5 shells because of the bend and a dent in the side.

I ordered these for a Cetme C308. All of the magazines were in very good to excellent condition. A couple had surface rust on the baseplate and one had moderate scratches. I cleaned the magazines and found them to be free of cosmoline, which was far better than the two magazines that came with the rifle.

Out of 12 regular aluminum mags one had extreme rust on the bottom. Two of the five steel mags had minor rust on them but all were serviceable. Some were in Grade II condition but most were in Grade III condition.

I ordered 4 and they all fit perfectly in my PTR 91 GIR. No feed issues. Some small cosmetic scratches and marks on wear points, but still looks good. As seen in the picture provided, the right one has a unique bluing on it.

Purchased 4 aluminum mags and 2 steel. The aluminum were in much better shape, some appear to be unused. The only negative thing I can say is they needed a good bath. I think they may have been stored in dirt for the last 30 or so years. But they do clean up nicely and are fully functional. CTD packages their items better than most companies I've dealt with. I recently received a box with about 30 rounds of 308 loose just rolling around in the box, from a large well known dealer. Quickest way to lose my business. Anyway, at this price you may as well stock up, they might eventually dry up one day.

Ordered 12 of these mags and all came in very good to excellent condition. There were two that had some very light rust spotting on the follower, but nothing an oiling and some steel wool wont cure. Outer appearances of a a few light scratches to black coating, but most if not all looked unused. Might order some more at this price!

I ordered 10 of these and was expecting half would only be suitable for parts. When they arrived only 1 was in bad enough shape that the mag body was unusable. All show normal wearand tear and some were full of sand but still in good shape. A little cleaning sanding and paint and they were ready to go.

Holy smokes! Got my order of 10 aluminum mags today and I swear they ALL look like brand new!!! Hardly need to clean them at all. Just a little spritz with some light oil on the steel parts. Not sure everyone will get this level of quality, but if they do, they will be VERY happy.

Ordered a pair of aluminum mags for my Century C308. They are in great condition with no dents or rust and are real H&K with the year stamped on them. Mine were made in the '60s and '70s. No issues with them, just slap them in like a man. They engage in mag well with no mods. Only downfall is that they came in a flimsy envelope type mail bag that was almost busting open.

Bought over 100 a year ago (along with the steel version). All fit perfectly in a PTR91. 70% of the mags were in sealed wrappers unused, 29.9% were used but in great shape only showing minor wear, I threw 2 in the garbage that were dented and would not operate (at the time and for the price I expected to be in only Fait condition did not bother me to toss 2). Prices appear to be increasing, I would say get as many as you can at this price.

I use these in my Century C308 & I've had no trouble with them using 7.62 NATO or 308 ammo. They've all either been in Very Good Condition or Ecellent, possibly even new & unused. They're nice & light but a bit thin so if you plan to drag your rifle through the outdoors buying some steel mags too might be a good idea. But at the price if you wreck one it's no big deal.

I recently purchased twenty of these magazines from CheaperThan Dirt. They arrived quickly and safely, in two boxes. I disassembled all the magazines in order to check the internal spring and to clean the magazines. Of the twenty magazines, three had rusted springs. Of these, two of the springs couldn't be 'recuperated.' So, for the price, two of the mags become 'spare parts.' Not bad because the other 18 load and feed great.

I bought 10 and it was a very good buy overall. 6 of the 10 were in sealed bags and wrapped with a piece of VCI paper. Some of the bags were punctured but the mags appeared to be in UNUSED condition! 1 is in rough shape and the other 3 are completely operable with some small rust spots on the follower. Shipping cost almost as much as the purchase, but cost per unit was still a good deal! Took 2 new ones out of the bag and ran 60 rounds through my new PTR 91K G.I with no issue.

I ordered 15 mags, of those 15 only 9 are usable. 3 are brand new unissued in H&K wrap,1 wrapped in a corn husk and 6 are tottally unusable. The magazines have crushed sides and bent feed lips. I can't even get the springs out for spare parts. Still a bargain but disappointed with my magazine order.

If you own a CETME, PTR 91, C308, you would be advised to grab some and more. They are surplus mags, some come with a few dings, some come with minor rust showing *aluminum casing only on these* and some look like they have never been used. Yet, every mag I have purchased has worked, 53 in total, only 4 that needed slight tinkering to feed properly. All in all, these have gone up in price and right now, you should grab a few dozen before they do go up again, or worse... a high capacity ban...

I ordered 5 magazines each from CTD and another vendor. The CTD mags were all in individually sealed plastic bags and appear new to me. Great shape at the least. They were shipped in a box which left no room for them to slide around in. In other words, great packaging. The other vendors mags were all thrown together in a large plastic bag and then thrown in a very large shipping envelope. In other words, just awful packaging. All the mags show heavy use going by all the missing paint. CTD was cheaper too.

Ordered these magazines and have had a poor experience with them. Rust, dents, and some sort of goo on/inside them. Contacted cheapo dirt to let them know there were issues with their misrepresented product. The could care less response from them was disappointing. They took the time to tell me these were used and not new and sight unseen said the mags full of goo and dents 'should work' Look elsewhere for products. Customer service is poor and so is most of product.

Ordered 30, arrived quickly. A wide spread of vintage ranging from '64 to '88. After wiping them down, 5 had some moderate wear marks from light use, 2 had slight dents, the rest had no apparent wear. 3 followers had some superficial rust which cleaned with some scrubbing with a scotch bright pad, 3-4 springs cleaned up from slight rust. Very pleased. Now all I have to do is figure out how to afford keeping them all filled!

Given there is a glut of these mags and I paid a relative premium price for 8 of them I expected all of the mags to be in at least good condition.All 8 had significant rust on the follower and springsOne was completely unusable due to large hole and dent in the magazine body.Another had a badly bent floor plate.For anything other than G3s this would be an amazing price and acceptable condition but given that others are selling unissued condition mags for similar price, this wasn't a good deal at all.

I ordered these because of the price. I ordered 5 steel and 10 aluminum. Judging by other reviews I may have just gotten lucky, but all the ones I received are at least as good as I expected for mil-surplus. One of each looks new. All but one is marked HK. None are dented and there is very little rust on any of them. No clunkers. That said, most look as if they could tell stories if only they could talk.

I ordered 12 of these 'used, Grade II' HK 91, PTR 91, magazines to go with the New PTR 91 I also ordered from CTD. These mags were no different than the brand new mag that came with the rifle!! The only difference there was, was that the new magazine was shiny! There weren't even any marks on the follower indicating that they had never even been loaded!I had an original HK 91 many years ago and put over 20,000 rounds through it with 'USED' mags just like the NEW 'used' mags I just got from CTD! no problems then and I'm sure that there will be no problems, now!! These magazines are EXCELLENT! Buy a lot of them!

I purchased ten used aluminum, 1 steel, and 1 brand new PTR-91 magazine; The used aluminum magazines are like new and most from my purchased lot never look to be used. Three out of the ten used were still in factory paper; the three not in paper only needed a wipe down to remove the dust. I broke down one of the three not in factory wrap and it looked flawless; I wiped away the dust from the outer shell and it looks new. The ones I used for practice cycled perfectly through the PTR-91. The steel mag did look used, but it cleaned up nicely meaning I broke it down to check parts and only cleaned the outer shell. The aluminum magazines are cheaper and do look better, but if you want steel the one I purchased functions flawlessly. Zero rust on any of the mags. Forget buying new, get the aluminum for $3.00 per mag. I AM BUYING MORE!

I ordered 13 of theseuFFFD 1 was kinda rough, 6 were used with some dents and scratch (made in '73 - '84) and 6 (made between '64 - '67) were BRAND NEW in 50 y/o paper wrapping with some plastic too. I'm a tad worried about the age of the springs, but otherwise I like the conditions of the '60's ones better!!! Though my MOTHER was teenager when they were manufactured!!! LMAO OVER ALL: as everyone says, for the price you any beat it!!! I probably would have gone with 4 stars, but for $3 each they definitely rated 5!!!

I'm not one to write reviews, but hey, these showed up cheap, as advertised, well even better than advertised because of the 20 I got maybe 2 were actually 'used', and by used I mean they were missing the original packaging. Fair shake for a fair dollar, buy em while you can get em. They shoot as well as the factory mag for my PTR91.

I bought 15 knowing they where surplus and that a few could be junk. Most look like they where issued but never used or even loaded. 3 had wear marks 1 had some filing on the feed lips, and one had a mashed up feed lip unusable. But the broken mag body had brand New looking spring follower and floorplate. All complaints I've read seem like people looking for a gripe. If you complain about having to clean up milsurp parts then you don't understand what your buying.

Of the three magazines I ordered, two were in near perfect condition, showing only minor wear. The third had some minor rust spots on the follower and interior of the magazine, which should clean off easily. All in all, I am happy with my purchase, especially for the price.

These mags showed up still in German factory wrap & preservative bags. Their condition was a perfect 10, showing not a single sign of use in the finish, the follower, or the spring. These are extremely inexpensive (gun shows have them for 5x the cost here) and work great. I use them in my Century Cetme. They have a slightly tight fit, but that isn't an issue. Have bought 8 so far and will buy a lot more.

I ordered 10 more of these after the first order was delivered. Out of 20 magazines, 5 were slightly used and the rest were wrapped in paper soaked in cosmoline and bagged in plastic. It took awhile to get them cleaned up and ready for use. I have a CETME .308 and I have had zero problems with these magazines.

I have bought way over $1000 worth of these mags. Yes out of that many I have had 1 come bent and another one came with what looked like paint or something? Now that said I have had over 300 mags come just fine ready to rock and roll! Yes I have had batches come where 40 out of 50 were in original plastic never used. I have also had orders the other way around. CTD never claimed these to be new for that matter they give them a surplus 2 rating.

I have a CETME. These mags are the light aluminum as stated. I'm surprised how light they are. These mags work great with one flaw that is kinda annoying. These mags are a tight fit for the cetme if you push on the trigger release you must also pull down the mag. It isn't stuck it just doesn't drop. Not really a big deal unless you like to drop your mags like me instantly. It fits well and works great. GREAT price and I will be ordering more soon.

I don't know where all there people receiving new-in-wrap magazines are, but I ordered 14 and not a single one was brand new. All show use, some light and some heavy. Got 5 steel ones and 1 has a big dent while another is rusted and useless. About half and actually HK while the rest are made by other mfg. You get what you pay for; don't expect much.

I own 3 Century Cetme 308's and these are the exact mags that Century sends with Cetme's. So there isn't anything you have to shave or adjust on your gun or mags for a proper fit. The gun was designed for HK G3 mags which is whats stamped right on these great mags! So if you own a Cetme I would order as many as these as you can afford. I have bought them at 4-5 different prices now but even at this price they are a good deal.

I ordered twenty of these mags. I had them on my doorstep within five business days. The mags were the high quality you would expect from HK. Half of the mags were brand new still n the original packaging. The other half of the mags I ordered showed very little or no wear at all. I would definitely purchase these mags if your in the market for them.

I bought 10 of these, fully expecting some of them to be junk. Three appeared to be lightly used, with just a few scuff marks. Another three had just a bit of rust on the steel floorplate. Two more have some significant rust on the follower that might polish off. The last two are beat up, dented, rusty, and might go in the trash. Overall, a decent buy at this price

I purchased 30 alloy mags and five steel mags. Overall, I was impressed with both. However, the steel ones were slightly better. Out of five, only one had rust, but brake cleaner and elbow grease fixed it right up. I then placed an order of five more steel mags. Better get them while you can. Also, price went up from my last order, so I figure jump now. I don't fault CTD for raising prices, all I ask is that my next order of five all be good quality. The alloy mags, I probably hit a 50/50 percentage of good quality vs. fair quality. Out of the 30 alloys, two were complete junk, dented, rusted bottom plates; about the only thing I could salvage was the spring and the follower. For the price, I cannot complain. Would I pay the price as they stand today? Probably not, unless I was guaranteed Class II quality. I remember the good old days when these went for a couple of bucks. A sign of the times! I ordered 10 of these and twenty of the steel HK91 mags. The aluminum mags were in virtually brand new condition and were well worth the price; they are practically a steal. The steel mags were obviously used but in good condition. The best bang for the buck is definitely the aluminum mags. God Bless my fellow Americans, and God help our leadership to see the error in their ways.

I ordered 20 of these, based on the reviews. I figured half would be damaged or heavily worn. All the mags from the '60s looked like they had never seen a mag well, let alone an 'HK slap' of the charging handle. A couple that I got from the '80s had definite signs of use, but still nothing heavy. Excellent buy. A number of my floor plates had light surface rust on them, but that was easily remedied with oil. At the time of the purchase and this review, they are now sold out of them.

Fearing that these would become super expensive after the election, I ordered 10 of them. Out of the 10, only about two even looked used, but nothing wrong with any of them. The other eight looked brand new. Not a single one had to be modified to fit or work in my CETME, which made my day.

First CTD order. I ordered 10 aluminum and 10 steel magazines. The aluminum mags would have been almost Grade 1 if they had not been tossed loosely into the box with the 10 steel magazines, which beat them up in shipping. For what I paid in shipping and handling, I would expect much better packaging of product. I know they are cheap, but that is not an excuse to not package them properly. This may be my last CTD order.

Ordered 21 HK-G3 magazines and promptly received an invoice and carrier tracking info in my e-mail. Shipment arrived in a few days. Inspection revealed the G3 mags in good condition, several in 'like new' condition, with various dates, all of them marked (HK).Was hoping to get a few (in wrapping), but that was not the case. Also wish that CTD would allow for an order of (in wrapping) mags. Would be willing to pay the premium. I remember, back in the early '90s, when these mags were selling for upwards of $35 a piece, if you could find them.Bottom line, this is the #1 best deal in magazines and a deciding factor to purchase a PTR-91 over the competitor's offerings.

Just received my order of 50 of these magazines today. 11 of them have some minor rust on followers. Easy clean up. Probably a third of them look brand new, the rest are in excellent shape. You can't go wrong at this price.

I have 50 of these. Fortunately I got them when they were a buck each, but this is still a great deal. I estimate that 90% of them needed some work - nothing mechanical and no parts replacement - just steel wool, WD-40, and elbow grease. Remove the floor plate, spring, and follower and start scrubbing. After cleaning, I ran half of them through two different PTR-91s and had ZERO feed or ejection issues. Get them now and get a bunch!! I gave them four bullets because I had to spend a couple of hours on them, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Bought six of these. Four were H&K, one was Rheinmetall, and one was Norwegian Kongsberg. The worst one was a '75 H&K that was dinged in a few places and worn, but the follower is not obstructed and feeds fine. Another one had light rust on the follower and floor plate, but some oil cleaned it right up. For this price, I feel like I stole them. Buy a bunch before they run out. Now for some mag pouches...

I shot 250 rounds through my CETME using these mags. I was bump firing, mag dumping, and normal target shooting. These mags out performed the steel CETME mags. Great price. I am ordering another 20 right now!

Ordered 10 mags on Thursday and got them Saturday morning! All in good condition, two like new, six with slight wearing of paint, one with a small spot of rust on the inside of the feed lip and follower, and one with a small dent. Dent has no effect on feeding and the rust was easily rubbed away with a little CLP and a rag. All needed a quick wipe down. My only regret is not ordering more.

I ordered 10 of these, and received them very fast. All 10 showed some degree of minor wear, but that's the key word - MINOR WEAR. Eight of them had just some cosmetic high edge wear from use, the other two had a couple small dents in the magazine body, but nothing that stopped them from functioning just fine. Six required nothing more than a fast wipe down with an oiled cloth, but the other four needed a little more attention and some dust removal. Sure, these aren't the prettiest mint condition magazines for your safe queen, but they're functional, and CHEAP! For the $$ I spent on these 10 magazines, I feel like I stole them.

Bought 15 mags and just got around to trying them in my CETME. None of them fit. After a quick inspection of my CAST CETME receiver, I noticed that the mag well was not square or flush with three stop tabs on the sides of each G3 mag. Simply file the three mag stop tabs on the mag catch side of the mag just a hair, then square the cast receiver. All mags now fit my CETME after about 2 minutes of tweaking each. All are snug and feed perfectly! Buy these up asap!

In a few instances, the mags needed a little cleaning and very minor rust removal from the spring and follower to bring them up to speed but that's the exception. I bought 12 for my CETME. 3 or 4 of them were bent or crushed, and all had to be cleaned. 8 had rust on the followers and springs, but they all cleaned up well with some elbow grease and all lock into my rifle with limited wiggle. Next time, I will spend the extra dollar for the steel ones.

I figered for two bucks it would be worth buying a few of these to put back and convert for my CETME when I finish building it. They came in and were extremely dirty with alot of fine sand inside them. A little soap and water and they were fine. I wish they were still less than a buck though.

I started with 10 of these. I figured that for $10 I could afford to experiment. I now have 50... About 1/3 of them were near perfect, no scratches or dings whatsoever, almost looked new. Another 1/3 were slightly used with minor wear. The other 1/3 needed some work. They were dirty, scuffed and had some surface rust. I disassembled every one of them, used some WD40 and a rag on the exterior and interior of the body and then used some WD40 and steel wool on the springs and followers. It took a bit of work, but for $50 I'm extremely happy and would not be afraid of using any of them if my life depended on it.

Bought 20 of them since they're less than a buck. 15 of them came in good shape. 2 are like new. 1 is new still wrapped in wax paper. Only 2 were in poor shape but just because of the followers were rusted pretty bad. But I know a site that sells just the followers and then those mags will be in great shape. Well worth the money.

I ordered 25 magazines yesterday and received them this morning! Out of the 25, 5 where brand new and still in a plastic wrap, 17 looked used but were in great shape, 2 has very noticeable rust on the followers and body and 1 looked almost brand new but was crushed on the bottom end. Will I buy more, hell ya and it will probably be today! I also have an M1A and the magazines cost over $50 each and for less than $1 get a great H&G mag.

Most are in hardly used shape and a few seem to be new and unused. I like these much better then the steel Cetme mags that I paid $9.50 for. Now I have 15 great mags that work perfect for under $15.00!

I just purchased a PTR 91 GI and needed some extra mags. For $.97 each, how could I go wrong. I was surprised when I opened the box. 12 of the mags were new, 4 only required wire brushing of the follower to remove minor rust. I mixed and matched springs, followers and floor plates on the last 4 and ended up with two more that were excellent. The last two I would rate grade II and are perfectly functional. Great job Cheaper Than Dirt:)

I read the reviews both good and bad. Decided I'll get 6 and see what arrives. They all were used and dirty but very good shape, I soaked them in Dawn dishwashing liquid and hot soapy water. They look almost new and function fine. I'll be ordering more. At less than a buck apiece you cant go wrong.

Ordered 50 of these on Wednesday at 8pm. They were on my doorstep Friday at noon! The mags were listed as grade II, most of them seemed to be new old stock, never loaded. About 10 were heavily used, still had alot of carbon on the followers, 3 or 4 had minor rusting/pitting and one was bent. ( will use this one to figure out how to disassemble). Overall very happy with order, now need to get my PTR's

Bought 10. Three were brand new, seven were slightly used. All could have had the oil wiped off and slapped in the mag well. Dates ranged from 1963 to 1987. Seven were marked G3 HK. Two were marked G3 with a K next to it and a crown over it. One was marked G3 with a diamond in a circle. Excellent value for the price. I would have ordered a larger quantity to make the shipping more tolerable, but any quantity larger than 10 on that day, made it go into Back Order Status. Shipping though expensive, was fast. Ordered on a Thursday and they were on my porch Saturday morning by 11:00 a.m. Will definitely be buying more!

10 work flawless, 7 are a super tight, but work (makes them harder to get out, and you have to smack 'em in good to seat them) 3 wonuFFFDt lock in at all. (those 3 look to be in mint condition). I will at a later time measure to find the actual differences and maybe with a little dremel action find they function as well. Overall I would suggest this product for any CETME owner.

Just like the reviews I read that made me decide to purchase for my PTR91F, these are a steal! Only one out of 100 is unusable -- looked like it had been used for target practice and even had a lead shot inside- but good spring, plates for spares. Several brand spankin' new wrapped in oil paper and inside plastic ziplock bags. Rest are in good shape. Can't beat the price and a great reason to look into purchasing a HK91/G3 or clone. Were it not for the 1 bad mag, this is a 5 bullet review.

Now you have as perfect a mag as a new one for much less. I have practiced this and have none to fail yet.

Just recieved my 20 mags today, only 2 showed any kind of wear, and only 1 looks like it needed cleaning. Most looked as if they never saw a magazine well. Clean and no dents. If I had friends with CETME or HK91, I would buy up more, but heck dont see myself using all 20 of these.

I ordered 15 mags; two were new in the wrapper, two had been in weapons, and the other 11 were like new with only wear from rubbing against other mags in the box. As for corrosion, no real problem with these; two followers had a few pits and only very minor dusty rust on seven base plates easily wiped away with cleaner. Ordered 10 all were serviceable. This was a good deal but whatuFFFDs up with the exorbitant shipping charges CTD! Delivered with a box of Golden Saber shipping was almost $19. I was going to order 200 rd. 7.62x51mm DAG and one XDM .45 mag. the next week and shipping came to $29! I went to Mid Way for the same thing and got it for $17 shipping. Even though Mid Way was higher on the product I still came out $20 cheaper! Sorry CTD I like you but until you get this shipping thing under control I have to go elsewhere.

I bought 15 of these and they were all in great condition. 5 of these were new in the wrapper the rest had minor wear around the contact points but that's to be expected. I will definitely be buying more.

The reviews are true. Just got mine. Some are better looking than others so if you don't care about outward appearances these will definitely do the job. I did find some rust on some of the the followers but only small spots of it. These are in pretty freakin good condition, all of mine function. They are a lil bit dirty so don't be surprised after all they've been sitting in a warehouse. :)

Got 20 like most people here, 3 were in wrappers, 7 were decent looking, the other 10 were rusted, bent, beat up, and just nasty looking. 4 of them don't even work. But 20 dollars for 16 working magazines is ok with me. Only 3 bullets because i received non working products and most of them were in bad shape. But what do you expect for .97 cents?

i really don't like to buy mags from here because half will be good and the other OK but I tried these because they were 99 cents and even the other cheapest you can find them, they are about 2.98 so Ii bought 24 and 15 were brand new still in the wrapper. 7 were rusted just a little on bottom but still work good. 2 could not be fixed. I ordered 10 of these mags 2 days ago, and they are already here! I wasn't sure what to expect as some reviews are great and others complain about quality. These are freaking new, and if not new, then these mags were only taken out of the package to be gently rocked and caressed before being lovingly placed back in their protective wrapper! I received my order Monday; the order was packed fairly well. Of the 20 mags I ordered 9 were new, 7 were almost new and three needed some work. One was missing. Called CTD on Tuesday and talked with a rep and it was on its way that day. A few of the mags needed some work to fit my Cemte but by the end of the night all were working well and I had no other problems.

I ordered 20 on 3-11 and received them 3-12. (I live in the Houston area.)5 were new in wrap. About 10 showed very little use. About 5 were well worn, but not junk. Most had just a little surface rust on the follow & floor plate. A little oil and they will all be used, although I'm tempted to keep 1 or 2 in the wrapper.

Ordered 30 last week, all in very good condition....VERY superfical mag floor plate rust, cleaned up to almost new with a little break free and #0000 steel wool rub down. Rememeber 30.00 S. African .308 battlepacks, these may be the days for G3/Cetme mags. When G3 O.D. stocks are back in stock, I will order more mags.

So I Purchased these on a Wed. and received them on the following Sat. (Amazing Shipping) Ordered 40 of them: 24 came in used but very good condition (just needed cleaned and lubed) 9 came in ORIGINAL FACTORY packaging... 7 needed to be wire wheeled (for small amounts of rust, mainly on follower and floor plate) So out of 40, 33 were in good enough shape to be used immediately and 7 needed touched up... Awesome!!!

These magazines are great. I ordered ten. Two had rust on the elevators so I needed to do some TLC, and one had a large amount of carbon on it like a round went off in the magazine. Oldest one I have is from 1963, best one out of the lot, too. Cleanest and best finished.

I read most all of the 252 reviews - Some good, some bad, but most so-so. I bought 30 magazines to try to get 20 usable. All 30 were excellent. 10 were still in the wrappers, 10 were new just not in the wrappers, and 10 were a little scuffed up. A couple of the scuffed ones had some surface rust on the followers. I don't own a G3...yet but for $.97 I couldn't pass up this deal. I ordered five magazines, three out of the five were stamped H&K and date coded from 1964-1988. The condition of the magazines is superb, only one showed minor wear the other four looked like they were just made yesterday. The quality is what I would expect from H&K and Cheaper Than Dirt, I will be ordering more.

I have had my 91 clone for a long time, and have always been skeptical of aluminum mags, but at .97 a piece, I figured what the hell. As with the steel mags, I have seen some folks make out alright, while others, unfortunately, ended up with some pretty beat up mags. I, however, seemed to do just fine with the three I ordered. One arrived in nearly brand new condition, and the other two, while still showing signs of use and wear, were still very serviceable. At .97 a piece, it's definitely worth adding a couple of these to your next order if you have a 91 or clone.

Bought 20 and all work fine, some unused some well used. Considering these mags are almost 50 years old, they are in great shape. Tip, my bud was a paratrooper in the Bundeswehr and said they always took their g3 mags apart and greased the inside of the mag body lightly. He also said they preferred the steel mags.

Bought 5 figuring one or two would be for parts, all 5 were in great shape only minor corrosion on the floor plates and a spot or two on the follower bodies were undented and found a coin in the 1989 mag, some GI must have stored his change in it lol. Mags ranged in dates from 63-89 and the coin is a cool plus even though it's a penny.

I purchased 25 clips. Shipping was very quick. 5 were brand new and the rest were in good condition. They all look functional. Some have small amounts of rust on the bottom. Overall, a great deal. I bought a lot because I thought I would just throw the bad ones away. I didn't get any bad mags and I am very pleased. Now if my .308 would get here already. I ordered 50 of these mags. Of the 50 mags 2 were junk, 8 were like new. Of the two that were junk I was able to salvage the springs, followers and floor plates. Most of the mags had a little rust on the followers and floor plates however it was easy to clean up. The rest were in used condition with finish wear but no defects. The dates on the mags varied from 1967 to 1990. I am very happy with my purchase.

Ordered another 50 because..well..why not? Two came new in wrapper, two were pulled for dents, one was pulled for a floorplate that probably wasnt bent enough to cause problems but just looked bad. So, out of 50, there were 47 good ones. Or, put another way, 6% reject rate, which is pretty much exactly the rate I had for rejects last time I ordered 250 mags. However, put that into perspective - I bought 50 mags at $0.97 and got 47 good ones...the bottom line is that I paid $1.03 per usable magazine. You really wanna cry about a six penny difference per mag for something that is a genuine HK product? These things have been banging around in cargo containers, bins and whatnot for forty years...buy twice what you think you want and even if you have to cull out 20% of them you are so far ahead of the game in terms of price that it doesnt even matter. As an aside, it looks like CTD has gotten their act together a little bit since I received 10 loose mags and two nicely boxed pacakges of 20..so, to avoid dings in your mags from transit, order in increments of 20. Only four stars because CTD really needs to work on their packaging for shipping.

Ordered 20. Received 20. Only 1 unusable. 15 were new. The remaining 4 only slightly used. Bought these for a CETME. Only slight modification necessary. A quick application of a Dremel and, Voila, .97 cent combat ready .308 mags. Did the final disassembly, cleaning, and then a quick trip to the local Mom-n-Pop hardware store netted a can of flat black camo paint. Thorough degreasing with Simple Green followed up with denatured alcohol. A couple light coats of flat black, an hour in a 200 degree oven. There it is. A weekend of enjoyable work, a chest rig full of top grade mags. Coupled with the trademark superior CTD service, (ordered yesterday, received today, as usual)...gives it a 5 star rating. I know...I know...but you had to toss one in the parts bin. So what? States clearly...USED MAGS...Got more than I expected. I always keep my expectations low when dealing with surplus equipment. That way, no harm, no foul, right? Want 100%? Buy new and suffer the boredom of not having anything to do or the money to do it with since you paid 20 times the cost for new stuff and are broke for the week.

For the price of one M1-A factory magazine you can have 40 of these gems. Both times I ordered 20 magazines (People need to stop calling magazines 'Clips') I only had to cannibalized three of them for parts for the rest, and a large portion of them where un-issued and still wrapped in paper. IuFFFDm glad I own a PTR-91; there are so many good deals on surplus parts and magazines like this for them.

I was totally shocked when I recieved my order. I had read a good many reviews on these mags and had no idea what to expect on arrival. I opened the box and was in total Shock. The first had a little rust on the bottom plate, the next was wrapped in brown paper, PERFECT. Another in a plastic wrap and the rest were better than gunshow stock and were not $15 to $20. I couldnt believe it. You may have gotten a bad batch for me I cant wait to order more. Only a little rust and I mean minor at the most. No dings no nothing.

Ordered 20 of these mags, 13 appeared in very good condition and had little or no wear or rust, 6 were sealed in plastic and appeared new except for one which had some wear, 1 had considerable wear. Will disassemble and clean most before using. Dates range from the 60's to 90. Not a bad lot for less than a buck each. Only gave 4 bullets as I will not be able to shoot these mags until I buy a PTR 91 and see how they perform.

Just bought 40 of the aluminums. How can you go wrong for the price? Well, you can. Of the 40, 16 are not serviceable. Mostly severely dented areas where I would not trust them. I am going to break them down for parts. All the bottom plates were rusted except for 5. I am going to call 20 good/great, 4 decent, 15 poor and 1 that looks like a tank ran it over, the bottom is shifted as it got pinched between something heavy. Order twice as many as you want and you are still doing well.

I rdered 25 and figured I will have to use some for parts. I received 8 like new, 10 in very good condition and 7 with moderate finish wear. All of them function fine. There is a little dust and minor rust on baseplates. For less than a dollar each they are a great deal. Order enough to offset the shipping costs.

Just got 10. None were new, but all were in good condition. Some had surface rust on the floor plates, but that's nothing 10 minutes with a copper brush won't fix. All functioned just fine, the followers did not stick and feed well. Just as good for the CETME as a G3, and for 97 cents a pop, you can't beat 'em. Get 'em while you can.

Ok, I have ordered 45 of these so far. I have only had one that I used for parts, 17 were new in paper/plastic wrap, many were in like new condition, and the rest just were service worn. I love working with my weapons and gear, so had no problem cleaning and painting the worn ones. I favor them more than the new ones for some reason. Buy them while you still can. Even if you don't have a rifle for the mag!!! order them while you still can.

I ordered 40 of these mags three days ago and the FEDEX truck just dropped them off. Of the 40 I ordered, 24 are new wrapped in paper, 7 are new condtion with no wrapper, 7 have very light surface rust on followers or floorplates, and 2 of them look used with some rust, but are very usable. This is a great deal on Mags for your PTR91 or HK91. I am going to order another batch just so I have plenty on hand.

At such a low price there's nothing to complain about here. I ordered 100 mags. 1/3 of the mags came in some sort of corn husk paper and looked to be brand new and never used, but they had some light rust on followers and base plates from storage. 1/3 appeared to have experienced light use and the remaining 1/3 are essentially junk; dents, extrememly worn feed lips, bent base plates, severe rust, etc. Regardless of the condition, I plan to spend a few hours disassembling, scrubbing, lubing, and re-assembling all of the mags. Even the brand new mags needed a good once over to remove surface rust, adhesives, and old grease. At the end of the day I have 60-70 excellent/good condition mags. The remaining mags will be stripped down for extra parts (springs, followers, and base plates can be salvaged). Moral of the story: purchase about 1/3 more mags than you think you'll actually need and then plan on spending some time cleaning them up.

I ordered twenty of these; one new in original wrapping, nine more never inserted, five of those where rewrapped in plastic, one was wrap in what seemed to be burlap soaked in grease or resin. I washed it off and ituFFFDs perfect. Three more had moderate use and the rest were pretty bad with heavy use and some rust. Just buy twice as many as you need. An excellent deal.

Stock up now is all I can say. Ordered 20 total. I received 8 still new in wrap, 6 unwrapped but 100% like new, not a mark on them, safe to say never even loaded or seated in a rifle, 2 had been lightly used and had very minor oxidation on the base plates, 1 was structurally perfect and oxidation free but did look like it had been used. The used looking one was of a glossy finish, the rest are a flat, phosphate finish. All are HK marked, a few had an addition number code and symbol stamped near the HK and year made stamp. A real HK guy might be able to explain the markings. In a word BUY BUY BUY

I bought a few cheap used magazines, and that's what I got and more, while one was very used and functioning perfectly, the second one looked to have been loaded/inserted but never fired. The third mag however looked to have been just removed from wrapper prior to shipping. I got alot more than I expected on this order.

For the price I really can't complain. However, to be frank most of the magazines I received are garbage. Ordered 15 and 3 of them are bent so badly I don't think there is any saving them. All the rest came heavily used, dirty, grimy, and all of them were fairly heavily rusted. If it didn't only cost me 20 bucks I would be rather mad but I have repaired 5 of them to working order so that's not bad at all.

The only reason I'm not giving this product a 5 star rating is because I didn't get any new ones in the pack. After reading all the reviews, I decided to throw the dice and buy 20. I was pleasantly surprised to get 15 good, solid magazines out of the 20. Mostly surface rust on the bottom plates. A few did have rusted springs though. No major dents. A little elbow grease and a wire brush is all it took. At this price, you can't beat this deal. Thank you CTD.

I bought 50, none were new. 3 were barely used, most were used in good condition, maybe 10 have dents / heavy use. Most floor plates (steel?) have surface rust. The followers are impressive, 90% are beautiful shiney thick chrome / stainless, German overkill. The springs seem super strong, much better than surplus Austrian STG-58 / FAL mags I have. They seem stronger than the new DPMS 308 mags I have. I am not an RKI, but that seems to be a good thing. I only gave 4 bullets because the shill(s) on here said they got a few new mags, and all mine were used! ;)

For less than a dollar a mag and some elbow grease this is a good deal. Have 1 mag floor plate that needed fixing, 1 needed some serious cleaning and the rest needed light cleaning. All 21 fit in my cetme with 1 being loose. Will tweek it. All in all I am pleased.

I bought 10 and for this price, I was not expecting pristine magazines. When I checked them, I found 1 new in the wrap, 5 that were near new with very little wear, and the other 4 showed use and wear. 1 of the 4 had a small dent, and some wear around the top. You can't beat this deal. These are actual H&K factory mags that are literally cheaper than dirt. The mags are in perfect condition, and work flawlessly like you would expect since they are H&K. The bodies are aluminum and in perfect condition. These mags have chromed followers. You may notice some rust on the base plates because they are steel. SO WHAT! At this price these are practically disposable.

I ordered 100pc of the alloy and 20 pieces of the steel. ALL JUNK. They came in 5 boxes total, all filthy and heavily used. Steel mags: rusty and pitted. No packing material in any box, steel and allow mixed together. Very poor job. If they had taken any time at all, they could have fit all the mags in 3 boxes max. All were half filled. I have 30 of these. Every one feeds great. Fast shipping. Many of them were still in the original packaging. Fit my PTR-91 perfect, but for my Cetme they needed a little fitting from a dremel. (I think that's Century Arms' fault not the magazine) Great mags!

I purchased 22 of them. All of them are new. No dents, scratches etc. I took a couple apart to clean them and they are like factory new. Since the first purchase I buy a few each month since I have a few 91's and have not had any problems with the mags. Get them while you can.

I ordered 30 mags just to check out the quality of the old surplus German military gear. At 97 cents a mag, it's a steal either way. Of the thirty I purchased 8 were still new in package(sealed plastic), and two new steel mags found their way into my fray as well, which was a nice bonus. Of the other 20 or so, a few had minor rust on the followers, but were easy to clean. Of all 30, only 1 is not usable due to the fact it has a dent the causes the follower to function poorly. I could probably fix it in a few minutes just by bending, but I will probably save it for spare parts. Tough to get locked into on the CETME, you really gotta smack 'em in but once they lock the function is flawless. Good buy, will buy again. If you can upgrade to the steel mags you might like the added durability, but at these prices you can grab dozens of both for cheap. One of the best buys on CTD, fast shipping as usual!

I had to get one of these after realizing the magazine that came with my CAI CETME was trashy. It doesn't fall out like 'drop_free', but fit in perfectly. It can't be beat for the price. Should work with any CAI CETME.

I ordered 25 of those for my CETME. 10 were in unused condition. 8 had some wear but they were in very good condition. 6 showed some degree of wear. All 24 locked tight in my gun. The 25th mag showed extensive rust on the follower and base plate. The spring inside was broken into three pieces. This one I had to throw away. Yes, I would have liked to see all 25 mags work but for the price. I thought that this was still an excellent deal.

Got got 10 of these in today. I was expecting quite a bit of wear and look used... I am very surprised as 7 were brand new, still in plastic wrapper, and the 3 not in a wrapper. It looked like they had never been put in a gun ever. Not a scratch on them. All I can say is, best magazine deal I have ever made.

On 3/18, I ordered ten of these mags. I got them today on (3/20). The first 5 were still in the wrapper, and the second 5 were not. I received two marked 'HK'. The rest (8) were un-marked. The manufacturing dates run from 1962 to 1990. Nine out of the ten mags were in great shape. The last mag will be a restoration project as it was quite rusty. It felt extremely gritty and had a ding on the side. The other nine mags fit my Century CETME, although I had to tap them in to latch properly. Other than that, I am quite pleased with the order of these magazines.

I ordered 150 magazines. Of the 150, about 60 were new in wrapper and they all function 100%. The manufacturers are mainly HK, however I got a few from Portugal(FMP), Greek, and Norway and they have at least one of every year from 1961 to 1990. They are in great shape and are a great buy !!!

This is an absolutely *PHENOMENAL* deal. These mags fit and work just fine in the CETME's, too. Mostly aluminum construction means virtually no rust. There were a couple that were kinda 'well used' (still work fine, though). But almost all of them were just lightly used or brand-spankin' new. Manufacture date ranged between 1965 and 1986.Cheaper Than Dirt, Inc. is really living up to their name on this one. I dunno how they pulled this one off. If you've got a CETME/HK-style rifle, get some of these mags. Even if you get some dirty ones, who cares? They're less than a buck apiece! How in tarnation do you beat that??Now, can Cheaper Than Dirt do the same thing with Ruger magazines somehow? :-)

I just bought 50 of these mags and 21 were brand new still in the wrapper, about 20 of them look like they have never seen ammo or shooting or anything other than a box, and about 9 have seen some good wear. Fantastic buy!! For .97 this is amazing! My only problem is they dont have 10 bullets for a rating.

Just got 16 of these today. 5 looked brand new with nice glossy paint. The others were older (1960's date), and one was totally rusted. They were all packaged very nice (except the rusty one). The rusty mag was the only reason I did not give it 5 bullets. For this price I am not gonna complain! Great buy will buy more again!

I ordered 35 of these alloy mags, could not pass up the price. Of the 35, 1 was a brand new STEEL mag, 16 were new in the factory wrapper, 14 were new unwrapped, 4 showed signs of use. All of them were fully functional mags. I always thought I got good deals in the past paying $3- $4 a mag, this is by far the best deal I have ever seen on G3 mags!!

The HK/Cetme mags were never designed to be butter, but improvements were made. A common problem in the field with the steel mags was that soldiers oiled the followers for better feeding, but that traps dirt and dust which shortens mag functionality/life. The aluminium mags were the answer to a problem that didn't exist 'why are they so worried about the mags rusting?' The only oil these should see are LIGHT coats on the ferrous parts or when put in storage for a few years. Some of these have 1965 date stamps (some I recieved) so it is expected that the original oil coat will be gone and minor rust may appear, but otherwise these mags work great for light use; just don't go stepping on them!

Ordered 100. Gave 25 to a buddy. Only a couple were dented bad or mis-shapen and I tossed them. Some are very used but work fine. Some are like new. Most are good-excellent. I took apart each one and wiped them out with rags. Yes some of them are a dirty. There a freaking $1 each people sheesh..I've used about 20 of them and all worked fine in my PTR.

I got six of the aluminium and two of the steel. Don't bother with the steel - one is trash that I probably won't bother to try to recover (completely pitted). The other might be OK after a good cleaning. The aluminium ones are all in acceptable shape, with some having a few small rust spots on just the followers.All fit my CETME S just fine. A couple are a little snug and I'll probably file their catches a bit.

Ordered 25. Received them on January 10, 2010. All had considerable rust on the floor plate, spring and follower. Yes, they are cheap, but I had to do a lot of wire brushing and painting to make them look good. The ones I got were nothing like the early reviews. One had a broken floor plate and some of them had dents. They were cheap and I think all will work, but they have been a lot of work.

Just received the order placed for 75 magazines. All I can say is that they are absolutely oustanding. Of the 75, 15 were still in the wrap, most appeared to be new or almost new, less than 10 showed any signs of rust on the floorplate or follower, and 5 had very minor dents that should not affect functioning. Products were shipped in a timely manner, and arrived as promised, although the packaging inside the box could have a litle better. A great value.

I've ordered two batches of these in the past and was very pleased. All were at least the stated 'good' condition, and many were even better!Based on that experience and recent reviews I decided to try some more.Much to my disappointment, out of 30 mags, most were barely even in 'servicable' condition, none were what I'd call 'good' condition.At least a third were so bent or corroded that I would not even try to use them. I'm not talking surface rust on the follower or floorplate, several had full blown saltwater on aluminum type corrosion. There were only 2-3 mags even as good as the worst of my previous orders. To make it worse, the typical RMA FedEx label was not included, and the mags were just thrown loose in a box, with no packing materials at all. CTD is allowing me to return, and I may try another batch. But not up to CTD typical standards. But for now, it's looking like all that is left is culls.

I used these mags in my CAI Cetme. Until then, I always used CETME original mags with no probs. Out of 110 rounds I got 3 jams. However, the more i fired the better the mags performed. I would recommend these for target practice but for tactical use you need to break them in good. I will try PTFE lube next time on the top of the mags and in the bolt carrier group.

I ordered 20 of these thinking that I would get a few that would work. When I opened the box I was shocked at what great shape these mags were in! 17 out of the 20 looked NEW, 2 had very very little were and one had 60% finish. A few did have a little suface rust on the floor plates but cleaned off very easy. This is the best deal you will EVER find on mags.

I've ordered 10 of these total. The first order, 1 was junk so I tossed it. The other 3 were used but still in decent and working shape. My second order was for 6 more. 4 where still in the wrappings as in brand new and the other 2 used where in such good shape I couldnt tell them from the new ones. This is the best buy I have ever seen on these 20 rounders and they work flawlessly in my CETME .308. I will be ordering more.

I bought 25 of them figuring I would have some junk. I received 9 new ones and 15 in perfect shape showing a little wear. One had a little rust on it with a small dent but nothing that would stop the function of it and cleaned up good with some oil. I would say this is the best deal around on these, donuFFFDt bother looking for a better one just buy a bunch and if you get some you are not happy with save them for parts and you still got a great deal.

Ordered 15 of these and 8 of them were new, the rest work great. IuFFFDm using them in a CETME, and I wonuFFFDt buy a CETME magazine again. Not because they donuFFFDt work, but because THESE fit and function so much better and for much, much cheaper. CETME magazines always wobbled in the magwell, these are solid. Just have to give a solid rap on the bottom when you insert them (Which is something I should probably get in the habit of doing anyway).

So I was all excited when I saw this deal, and read the reviews...not so excited when the box got here (shipping was real fast, thanks CtD!). I ordered 20 mags and about 18 are useable. I assume they are getting close to the bottom of the barrel because I rec'd no new mags, and all of them had rust on them. The two unusable ones had the bottom bent off, and several of my magazines had dents. Went ahead and gave 4 bullets because of the amazing good price. It's cool to think that some of the magazines dated from the 60's could have been used by my father when he was stationed in germany...

I just received the latest order of these HK G3 mags and they function very nicely, 3/4 of these were in wrappers most were spotless, several in the wrappings were used as were the some of the loose ones. But all are in good to excellent condition. I purchased 20 this time and at this price it was a GREAT DEAL. I now have 40 of these. When compared to several of my pistol mags that go for $50.00 each these are well worth the cost.

Ordered some steel mags from another company, due to poor quality decided to get 14 of these. Would agree with the descrition 'good condition' none were new or unissued but all were usable ranging from almost new with very little dirt or rust to moderately so. Will clean up with little effort. For the price of a box of good ammo you can get enough mags to hold almost half a case of rounds. How can this not be a great deal.

Just got my order of 25 of these clips. 24 of them are unused and don't show any installation marks what so ever. The other is slightly used and had a small repairable dent. I ordered 50, I did not receive any that were new in the wrapper, but I would say 90% looked like they had never been inserted into a weapon. I do not see any dents or surface rust on any of the mags I ordered. Very little surface scratching on approximately 10% of the mags. All are in better condition than what is being sold in my area at the gunstores for $10-20.00 a piece.

CRAZY DEAL! Doesnt even seem like it would pay for materials/mfg at $0.99 but no complaints! STOCK UP! Got a full 100 mags. 2 in original wrapper, 3 more in some other wrapper, most mags in half paper wrap, of those most in plastic as well. I wanna say that most of the unwrapped ones, and a large part of the wrapped ones have never been inserted into a mag well. I have at least 20-30 brand new or pretty close to brand new one. No bent followers, no bent floor plates... two magazines show a lot of wear, but thats it... crazy deal!

Yesterday, I received my order of 100 Cheaper Than Dirt (CTD) $.99-each H&K 20-round G3 mags. Best deal on mags I ever had. Shipping was a bit high at $25, but with a $124 total I couldn't go wrong. Prior customer comments on the CTD site indicated that, while all were happy with their orders of these mags, some received a few less than 100 and some had a few damaged mags. I mentioned these comments to my CTD salesperson and she said that she could not send a note to shipping to ensure that I got the full count and no damaged ones, but she said that if there was any problem at all to call her (her name was on the invoice), and she would ship out mags to correct the problem. Well, I don't know whether or not she actually went ahead and spoke to someone, but I received all 100 mags. All were very nice (some - maybe 10 - were brand new in wrappers) and only one had a very slight bend in a floorplate, but it seemed to be only a cosmetic problem. Get some! You won't be disappointed.

I received my mags yesterday, and though they were simply thrown into a box and shipped I did not mind seeing as how they are going to take a lot more of a beating in the future. I ordered only 8 to test out CTD's supply and I am well pleased! 6 of the mags didn't even have wear on the followers, the other 2 had trace amounts of wear. Spring tension is perfect. Thank you CTD for supplying more mags to my favorite gun in my arsenal. I intend on purchasing more soon.

I guess i was one of the lucky ones. I only ordered 10. 5 brand new still in wrapper. The other 5 aint in wrappers but still look new. They dont even have the scatches on top from being in a gun. Also everyone is H&K years 66 to 88. Best deal I think I've ever got. thanks alot.

I ordered 100 and only got a few that were new, and the ones that were new were covered in sticky adhesive. I saw quite a few posts here that they got a good portion of new ones. They must have gotten lucky.CTD only sent 96 and 3 were broken. I called and they quickly replaced the missing and broken ones.Most of them are fair condition, some with dents, some bent, some with rust, and some fairly worn.4 missing3 broken7 poor - required some work to get functioning46 fair - dents, bent, rust, worn23 good - slight wear or minor dents12 very good - light scratches, minimal use5 new - but covered in adhesive mixed oil or somethingMaybe I got the bottom of the barrel, or maybe they don't give you as good of mags if you order a large quantity.But since they were only a little more than a dollar with shipping, I still have to give the deal 5 stars.

I ordered 10 about a month ago. 2 were new in original packaging the other 8 were used but great condition. went out and shot thru each mag, not 1 issue, SO i bought another 20. Out of this 20, 9 were new in package, 3 looked NEW just not in original packaging, 7 were used but good condition and 1 was WELL USED and looked like it got used as a hammer. haha. but the internals were in good condition, so it will be a parts mag. went out and shot thru all 19 and 1 of the used ones did a FTF, but when i used it again, no issue. will definitely be buying again.

Out of the 5 ordered, 2 were very good shape, 2 were well used with a few dents but serviceable and 1 had bowed floor plate, cracked side and dented in the front where it hooks to the trunion...that'll be for parts. I'm sure if more were ordered the ratio of good to bad would be better, but for the price it's worth taking a chance.

I ordered 50 mags. I opened the box and counted 51 mags total. Out of the 51 mags only one was in poor condition (non operatable), 32 were in like new condition and the other 18 were in diffrent stages of used condition. I only had time to function check the used mags and all worked great. The dates on the mags ranged from 1964-1985. Its hard to believe that an H&K G3 magazine cost less than one round of M118 ball ammo. Now I have to rewrite my zombie survival plan to figure less time for reloading (ha ha). Thanks for the deal.

Ordered 250 magazines. Of the 250, about 20 were new in wrapper. 25 were culled out for dents and of those 25 about half were rejected as too severe to function reliably. Two mags were pulled for having severely bent floorplates. About 40% of the mags had cosmetic rust on the floorplates. Mags were about a 60/40 mix of blued/phosphate finish. HK made up about 1/2 the manufacturers. ...still a great price for anything marked 'HK'. Total reject rate was about 6%...they'll be broken down for parts. Oldest mags were 1965, newest mags were 1985.All in all a good deal. Paid for 250 mags, got about 235 usable mags and it still averages out as a bargain. The mags are actually cheaper than two rounds of the ammo you use to load them!

I ordered 25 and recieved them today. Out of the 25, (9) are brand new, (4) are beat up with loss of finish, dents, and one bent floorplate, and the other (12) are in very good shape with no dents, just some scratches and loss of finish from being inserted in a weapon. Even the (4) beat up ones are still functional, just ugly. All but (2) were HK stamped. This is a great deal.

I just ordered my second batch of these. In a review for my previous order I just wrote 'YES!' after receiving them, I guess that review was not descriptive enough, I was overly excited over this price! I see these being sold at gun shows at five to ten times this price. It seems like a no brainer if you own a G3, 91, CETME or any clone thereof. These are absolutely the best mags for the Century sheet metal-framed CETME. Buy MANY while you still can. I got mine several years ago for 99 cents each (!) but these are still the best deal around. They work better than the CETME mags because they are meant for the Century CETME/G3 'do-all' receiver. Most of mine were marked HK and dated in the seventies. All worked and fit perfectly.

These mags are in great condition. Two or three out of the 10 I ordered had a small dent in them but it was nothing that interfered with the overall function of the magazine. The blueing on one was very worn down but it works fine and none of them are rusted externally. However they do tend to have some rust on the spring and beneath the follower. For the price it was a great buy.

I purchased 5 for my CETME. I expected only a few to work well for that price, but I was wrong! All were in good shape and fed just fine. I think only 1 needed to be filed down a little on the stopper-tab. Great deal considering they are aluminum and from Germany. Worked way better than my used steel CETME mags.

I bought 10 of the mags, and while I didn't get lucky and get new ones like some people, I did get some pretty decent mags for the money. Only one of the 10 has any issues, it had a small dent in the floorplate, and the mag spring had some rust on it. I cleaned and oiled them all and they look great, just some slight wear on them which is basically some small spots where the finish was worn off. the magazine follower is chrome plated steel, and im planning to buy some more, 2.99 a piece, you cant beat it.

Received a shipment of 10 of these magazines and I was very impressed with the quality! 100% were in great (read: FLAWLESS) working condition, with mag springs functioning perfectly and fitting perfectly in mag well. Some of these guys were even brand-new, looking like they just came of the machinery at HK. All others were in good/like new condition; a heck of a deal for $3 a piece!

These are NATO G3 Magazines. I bought 10 of these. 8 were NEW! Mags date from 1964 thru 1979. 5 mags were Rheinmetall, 3 were HK, 1 was Danish the last was Norwegian. Who cares if they are not steel. These are $3 and made for your rifle.Fit a PTR91 perfectly. No loading or feeding issues as of 500 rounds on same magazine. Magazine locks in place and is easy to remove everytime.

I just bought 10 of these and only 1 was dented a tiny bit out of all of them, 4 were brand new and never used, still had the oiled paper in the follower to keep rust out. Dates on them ranged from 66 to 84 but none with my rifles date on them from 4/74. All of them fit and functioned fine in mt hk and I am very pleased, I am going to order more right away to get my stock up before November.

Great mags. IF you own a cetme, you may need to grid down the top of the 3 stops on the side of the mag. Several of the reviewers report it not seating correctly, this is the solution, make sure you do not grind down too much, slowly work your way on them until they just click in, then pound on them hard to seat the aluminum, and they will serve you great forever.

Ordered 5 of these and they all fit perfectly in my HK-91. They should be classified as used/good condition. The finish is nicked and worn, but all of the magazines function perfectly without jamming or miss-feeding.These are combat ready items that will be reliable when the SHTF.

Just got home to a box waiting for me from the Mrs. What a great Valentine Day present. I've been looking for mags for the Century Cetme. I opened the box and 10 nice looking mags were staring back at me. They are used but in good to very good condition. I tried all 10. All fit will no problems. One of the 10 feels like it needs to be broken down and reassembled. Side walls seem flimsy and the spring was rattling. The follower was in operating position, and it would have functioned for the time being. 9/10 were as good as you can expect for 3 bucks. Add in shipping and I got 10 mags for 41 bucs and change. Can't get better than that. I'll be ordering as many as the budget allows. Great deal CTD. Now if you can work on the same deal for the Glock mags??!! ;-)

Just a note for the CETME fans , these mags will work in all Cetme's , some rifles have a slightly oversized mag catch and require a little filing on the mag only not the catch , insert the mag fully and look at the left side of the catch , you will notice that the detent on the mag falls short of allowing the catch to seat fully , small amount of filing does the trick , be carefull not to remove too much or damage the mag body itself , do not modify the rifle mag catch as this will cause problems with original Cetme mags . A single sided mill file works best or a dremel tool , but be carefull with the power tools , it is very easy to remove too much material .

I bought a few of these for my Cetme Sporter and they did not work at all for me.I read all the posts that said it works perfectly for it, but no luck in my case.... did you guy's alter them?My troulble seems to be that they did not click in all the way as the old cetme mags did and they pull out without any effort at all.. it did not seem to safe... Is there anything I can do?Thanks-PS- they are good condition mags and seem to to be a great buy for the money... but i guess maybe not for the cetme's?

I bought 5 of these mags on the first order. I took them apart ,cleaned them with Hoppe's no.9, Sprayed some Silicone on them and put them back together. They worked terrific in my PTR-91. I bought five more and they too came in in pretty good shape. I had seven in total clean up to almost new condition. Two that had minor dents on the front face that did not affect the fuction of the magazines. Only one did not fuction ,but after taking it to work and banging out the dent on the side, it now fuctions as good as all the others. I am going to order a few more as spares should the government want to impose the high capacity magazine band again. All I can say is stock-up now.

I purchased 3 of these magazines and like mentioned before, a great price. I did however receive only one that I would classify as in 'good' condition; with the other two showing considerable wear. They were functional and the wear I would not consider to be a result of abuse, but when compared to the first they were obviously in worse condition.If aesthetics are important to you then I would recommend ordering them by the dozen and with that, you should in my experience receive 4 in the condition you are wanting. I have bought scads of these, at $3 a pop, why not? I have run them in two different Century CETME's with no problems. By and large these are great magazines. I would call them 'Good to Very Good' condition. Occaisonally there will be a bit of rust on the floorplate or follower, and have seen one or two with bent or dinged bodies. Heres the trick:1) Order a metric butt-ton of them. I usually order them by 10's or 20's.2) When you get them, disassemble them all and inspect. If you find a bum part, set the whole mag aside, and save for spares.3) When The Wife isn't looking, toss all the parts in the dishwasher and run them with just a dab of dishwashing detergent. Put the followers in the silverware holder, or they'll all wind up in the bottom of the washer. Aske me how I know.4) Once done, get an old towel and make sure all the parts are completely dry, and re-inspect.5) Put a dab of boat-axle grease on the spring. Not too much, you don't want to collect a bunch of cooters.6) Put a dab of Tetra Gun Grease on the follower where it rides on the magazine body. Just a tiny dab.7) Reassemble8) Re-paint if necessary or desired.9) Load 'em all up and go have a good afternoon at the range!If you run these in a Century CETME, you may need to file either the locking notch or the seating tabs on the side of the body to get them to seat right, but I haven't had to yet, and I've got probably 80 or 100 of them.All in all they are a steal. Get 'em before either I get them all or they aren't available any more.
