I bought some of these to
I bought some of these to introduce my girlfriend to the home defense shotgun. In a Benelli Supernova 18.5' barrel it is barely noticeable recoil. I could shoot these all day, she even enjoyed them. As an added bonus, just for kicks I put a few boxes in my Mossberg 930 thinking none of them would cycle due to the reduced power. Every single one fired, ejected, and fed without issue. Good stuff.

tried all the low recoil shells out there (for my small wife who's never seen a shotgun before) and my wife liked these the best. very low recoil and pattern was tight enough up to @ 15 ft

You can't beat the price
You can't beat the price on these. Don't overlook that it is a TEN round box. This is the perfect ammo for somebody who shoots at a range that only allows buckshot or slugs in shotguns. Recoil is soft and the price is right. I only gave it a 4 rating because it doesn't pattern the best, but for practice...yes please.

This is a fantastic 12ga
This is a fantastic 12ga round for the range or home defense. Works well in my Remington 870 tactical 12ga and saves the shoulder at the range. Plus 10 rounds per box at this price is a good deal, I think. Shot pattern is fairly tight at 10 yards making it a decent home defense 00 BK round. I'm stocking up.

Bought a number of boxes of this and the low recoil slugs for range work out of my Tromix Saiga 12. The ammo is fine and was exactly what I wanted (very soft recoil, accurate) but it will NOT cycle in a Saiga or most other gas guns. Just beware - sitting on lots of boxes of worthless ammo now. Matt

Recoil is not much more than birdshot. Makes for great follow-up shots/rapid fire. Pattern at 40' with a Hawk 982 w/ improved-cylinder choke was 6'. Very tight pattern. Nickel-plating makes a difference. Have run about 60 rounds of this through my pump shotgun without a single problem. Cycles great. Nearly half the price of Federal/Winchester/Remington. Shoots clean. My favorite home-defense load yet.

I ran the 60 rounds I bought through a Mossberg 500 Persuader. They all cycled/fired fine. I had none of the 'swollen' shells or failure to eject or load that others had. I visually inspected all shells before trip to range. Noticeable recoil reduction, wonderful groups at 5-20 yards, reliability in my particular firearm means I will be buying many more of these. Great price and fast shipping as usual per CTD!

I have have tried using this ammo on two Benellis. An M2 autoloader and a Benelli Nova pump. It works flawlessly on the Nova pump after about 100 rounds and not a single issue. However, on the M2 auto it jammed every other round on about 20 rounds. That's about ten jams! I just gave up after the second box. The recoil on these rounds are so light that they are not enough to push the bolt completely back and cycle another round. I cannot recommend this ammo on Benelli autos, but will probably continue to buy for the pump.

Great ammo. Just went through about 150 rds w/o a hitch. Did not have the bulge problem that other reviewers complain about. Patterns well and cycles nicely in my Mossberg 500 pump.

I got this ammo from another vendor and am on alret when CTD gets it in. Have about 400 and all my 500 Mossbergs eat them up.I use this in whichever is out on house 'guard duty'.The pellets are protected by petals of the trap style wad which is problably why they pattern so well. I also ordered another brand of full power through CTD but like this better for volume shooting.

I shot 3 boxes of these out of an 18.5' Benelli Pump from ranges of 7-25 yards. I was very pleased with the consistently tight patterns at that range, and while only producing the recoil of birdshot!These shells are very tightly packed, and their transparent hulls are thinner than those of other brands which causes the shot on some of the shells to bulge out, slightly distorting the circumference of the hull. To overcome this, I simply racked them into the chamber a little more forcefully. As soon as they're back in stock, I'll buy more.

I have put many rounds (Remington,Federal,Winchester,etc...) through my Mossberg 500 and I have to say for home defense these are my number one choice. Recoil is definately noticably reduced and this load seems to consistently hold a tight pattern even at extended range. For me,there has never been a single issue with the feeding or ejecting of these shells either. The Fiocchi's seem to be a consistent shell and a solid choice for any HD considerations.

This round is a nice soft shooter that patterns well out of my Rem 870 20' cylinder bore. It won't cycle my 11-87, but that is to be expected. Overall a good bargain that's perfect for a pump action home defense gun.

I've put at least 500 of these shells through various different weapons over the past couple of years and can honestly say I've never had a single problem.The recoil is noticeably lighter that standard 00 buck and it patterns nice and tight.If you've bought and had problems with this ammo, you've either had one in a million bad luck or your gun is the problem.

I have been using this stuff for years. I have always been more than satisfied with its performance. My 2 mossberg 500's and my mossberg M590A1 have never had a problem with fiocchi 00, or 4buck. Its great stuff, maybe its you remington not the ammo.

Bought 150 rounds of this ammo! It is the best buckshot I have ever grouped, better than Remington, Federal, even Hornady Tap Red Hull and the recoil is very reduced! Your second shot is much quicker and more accurate. Love this product!
