The 7.62 Lite is designed to be free floating and will use the bolt-up system to connect to the barrel nut to prevent the hand guard from spinning. It is designed to be lightweight and strong, yet it can quickly dissipate heat from off of the barrel.

Armalite Note: You may have to replace the ejection port cover hinge pin to a longer length due to the bolt up plate position in relation to Armalite's upper receiver design. Otherwise the ejection port cover pin may not be captured and could come loose.
