CMMG's DISSENT Series is a New Step Forward in Compact Firearm Design

CMMG has a long history of designing and building AR-15 rifles to fit a wide variety of needs. Now, CMMG is proud to introduce something a bit different. The DISSENT is a personal defense weapon (PDW) system that utilizes a unique compact action working in tandem with a direct impingement system. This eliminates the need for a buffer system, which means the DISSENT is radically shorter than other AR-style pistols on the market. With this compact action and recoil system comes a forward mounted non-reciprocating side charging handle which can be switched to the left or right side. This complete DISSENT upper assembly is compatible with several types of CMMG's lower receivers as well as standard mil-spec AR-15 lower receivers. A 1913 Picatinny rail end cap comes included with every upper and allows the user to add a compatible pistol brace or stock if they wish (all NFA rules apply).
