This is definately worth
This is definately worth it. Installation is easy, remove junk follower, turn spring upside down, feed spring end through loop on bottom of follower to the first twist in spring, reinstall in magazine. Can be switched back to standard follower easily, if you decide to sell some mags to upgrade them, and want to keep your followers. The additional spring twist for standard follower now being at the bottom of the magazine, means absolutely nothing in functionality of the magazine, only mentally, knowing its there. You will long forget about that once you put mags into service with these followers. 110% SATISIFIED WITH THESE FOLLOWERS!

I had a few older GI mags with the black followers. Ordered a 5-pack of these to try. Was stumped at first, that the loop at the bottom of the follower was in front. After trial and error, found the easy way to feed the follower from the bottom of the spring, to the top. I recommend this was, as the loop on the top of the spring(that goes thru the hole on black and green followers)should still be under the follower, in my opinion. These are an excellent improvement to the old black ones, and a very good improvement for the green ones.

What everyone else says i
What everyone else says is true. These mag followers are fantastic, and will make your existing mags function better than new. Pulled out the awkward green plastic followers, and installed these in five minutes. And, as others have said, installation is not hard at all--simply put the spring back in the mag upside down. I'm getting more.

Excellent replacement to the green or black standard followers. can't tilt them if you try to! Easy to install if you look at the CAA website. I agree that the directions should be included though. Ordering more.

These followers work grea
These followers work great... if you can get them in the magazine. I had a lot of trouble getting these past the floor plate retainers but other than that a great deal and worth the effort. By far a much superior follower than the older USGI green or black followers. The only thing that beats these are the slightly more expensive Mag-pul Gen III followers that have a spring guide and are designed to slide right into the bottom of the mag and not snag on anything.

Pulled the crummy factory
Pulled the crummy factory followers out of some used Bushmaster mags, put these in, flipped the spring UPSIDE-DOWN, and they now work like higher-priced mags, for a fraction of the cost. I'm ordering MORE!

WORKS GREAT! WENT TO THE WEBSITE FOR INSTRUCTIONS-SIMPLE AND CORRECT. I DON'T KNOW WHAT ALL THESE PEOPLE ARE WHINING ABOUT IT BEING A DIFFICULT INSTALLATION. THEY PROBABLY CAN'T TELL CLOCK FROM COUNTER CLOCK? WATCH THE MOUSE'S HANDS GUYS. ANYWAY, I SALVAGED A COUPLE OF MAGS THAT DID HAVE TERMINAL TILTING DISEASE -NOW THEY WORK GREAT. WILL BUY MORE.

I just put a few of these
I just put a few of these in some bushmaster 40 rounders, they will not bind,or tilt! *BEST to use the CMMG springs ON 30 ROUNDERS*, BUT I FOUND BY OPENING THE LOOP AT THE TOP OF THE SPRING (just enough to put into and rotate and slide down the follower to back of spring) AND PUTING IT ON, and then gentlty with care closeing the loop on the mag spring (plieres NEEDED) THE SPRING GOS BACK IN AND FITS THE WAY IT WAS MADE TO FIT , AND FUNCTIONS flawlessly!YOU ARE NEVER GONNA TAKE THESE OUT , ONCE YOU PUT THESE IN. almost AS SOOOOOOMTH AS A H&K!!!

Works great! Installation
Works great! Installation was a snap, instructions are available on C.M.M.G.s website. According to their instructions, 'Follower is designed to retain bottom of USGI spring to ease installation' you turn the spring upside down, using the BOTTOM. Piece of cake!

They work great I couldn't be happier. They feed rounds silky smooth. I won't field any gear that isnt 100% reliable so its says something when I use these in all my mags and I recommend them to everyone in my unit.

I recently purchased the C.M.M.G. stainless steel, anti-tilt magazine followers from CTD. Here's my experience with them - I bought the stainless steel followers to replace the plastic followers in some inexpensive magazines. Other posts on this subject say that the magazine spring has to be turned around (front to back) when using the C.M.N.G. magazine followers. I found that when turning around the spring, it was difficult to get the spring into the loop in the follower and after doing so the follower and spring just bound up in the magazine. If the spring is installed normally and not hooked into the loop on the follower, the follower functions correctly. In fact, I can push the follower all the way down the magazine with a screw driver without any binding. This is something I couldn't do with the original plastic followers. To improve inexpensive magazines and for $10 for five of them, I say these magazine followers are a good buy.

They work great. Had a problem with mid-mag rounds jammin and that stopped. Have my factory DPMS mags and a mess load of colt mags. Not a hard thing to figure out but my DPMS springs fit fine, had to flip over the colt springs though. Either way, simple to figure out unless maybe you can't do anything without instructions.

I purchased a 5-pack of the followers to test them out before possibly purchasing more. There were NOT any instructions included, but I soon figured out that you had to spin the springs around so that the other side (NOT OTHER END) of the spring goes through the hole. The lack of instructions concerns me - since improper installation may endanger the life of a fellow Soldier who didn't quite figure it out and has a misfire or jam at the wrong time. They seem to work as well as the Magpul followers. The last round seems to strip off of the stainless steel surface very nicely.I would have preferred they come in a 6-pack since I carry extra mags 6 at a time.

Good product, made my magazines perform perfect instead of two shots at a time. I had to shorten for the 20 round mags though or it cut out 3 rounds. On 30 round mags worked perfect. On the spring subject, I did not recieve any instructions, but i just turned my spring upside down and attached it to the other end, easy install and performed flawless.

You put the spring on wrong. The spring does not attach in the same way on these as they did with the old follower. You should have bothered to read the instructions.

I ordered a pack of these
I ordered a pack of these to replace the old-style followers in some Stoner 20-round aluminum mags I had since CTD doesn't carry Magpul followers, figuring they would be the same thing. They would be - except that the hole where the spring attaches to the follower is about a quarter inch too far forward, so that the topmost front curve of the spring pushes against the front of the follower, causing it to rock backwards and feed very inconsistently. Feeling the excess friction, I loaded both newly modified magazines, removed the firing pin from my rifle and proceeded to cycle 40 rounds thru the rifle manually to test for function - big mistake. 7 rounds didn't strip off the magazine and jammed into the chamber mouth, pushing the bullet completely back into the case in 4 of the 7 rounds - and I only made it thru 30 rounds before I decided to save the last 10 from a terrible death. Long story short - take your money elsewhere and buy Magpul followers, until CTD decides to carry them. I'm a loyal buyer and I love CTD, but this is a poorly designed product and will give you nothing but trouble.
