Massive improvement!
What an easy installation and this solved a problem I have had since purchasing this weapon; I could only load three (3) rounds otherwise it jammed. I now have ten (10) rounds that are available. This is a very worthwhile improvement.

I got what I wanted.
This was for my Remington 1187. I got it for Three Gun Shoots. It holds 10 in the tube plus one. So far I have had no feeding problems or loading problems. Easy and fast to install. No modifications needed. Very well built. Looks and feels like it will hold up to anything. Pros: Good price for a very good product. Cons: None

Will this fit the 870 super mag? The barrel measured 27 inches.

Answer: Yes this should fit.
will this fit an ATA CY 12 gauge?
Answer: The manufacturer does not guarantee fit or function with any firearm other than the firearm the item was originally designed for.
What is the OD of the tube? I lost the clamp
Answer: It's 1". You could use the GG&G Lancer Shotgun Mag Tube Extension Clamp Item# 20-LALSXCP2R or you may want to try a 1" light mount like iProtec item# 137355
Will this stick out passed a 26 barrel on a 870 express?
Answer: If you currently have a 4 round magazine tube, the barrel guide ring is 11.75" from the breech face and this item is 14.75" long, so this item will make your magazine tube roughly 26" in length. If this item makes your magazine tube stick out past your barrel, than it will not be by much, and that will not affect the operation of the firearm.
Will this fit a Mossberg 835 ?
Answer: No it will not.
I know this will work great with my 28in barrel but what would you recommend for a 18.5in barrel?

Remington 1100, with Remington Rifled barrel that is 20.5" long. Looking for a mag extender that does not stick out past the barrel. Will this one work?
Answer: It would stick out very slightly, I would recommend the 8 shot tube if flush fit is your concern, SHT-254-016
Would explain where the aforementioned nubs are found. With great detail thank you!
Answer: Sure. The standard Remington 870 magazine tube has tab detents stamped from the outside-in near the top of the mag tube at the muzzle end. These are used to hold the spring retainer in place when you remove the magazine end cap. Those tabs, or nubs as you call them, will need to be flattened or removed from your Remington 870 mag tube to use this product. If left in place you will not be able to push rounds past the tabs, which would defeat the purpose of adding a mag extension.
I have a 870 wingmaster mag with a vent rib barrel, will this work on my gun?
Answer: Yes it should fit, if there are tabs or divots in the magazine tube they must be removed prior to installation.

Will this work on the 870 Express without modifications? I read that there may be "nubs" or something that prevent it from working without modifying the magazine.
Answer: Almost all Remington 870s made after a certain time period have those nubs that need to be removed.
will this stick out past an 18" barrel ?
Answer: Yes it will
Will this fit the Remington Sportsman 48?
Answer: Not that we are aware of.
Would this work with an 18" barrel without sticking out passed it?
