A good purchase
This product is exactly what I expected. A fairly cheap and reliable product for malfunction practice or firing pin protection. The bright red color makes them easy to separate out on the floor with the other brass.

These snap caps are well made and eject while training just like a live round and serve well protecting the firing pin without much wear to themuFFFDselves. Would recommend them to everyone.

These snap caps are surpr
These snap caps are surprisingly well made. They fit all my .45 pistols and I can dry fire away without worrying about breaking firing pins. I also bought the .40 S&W, .357 and 9 mm snap caps, and the quality is consistent throughout.

I already had a 12 gauge,
I already had a 12 gauge, 40 cal and 223 cal sets. I use them regularlly. Got these (45cal) for my 1911. These are a 'must have'. I keep one mag for each type seperated from my regular mags. Pull out a weapon, pop in a snap-cap mag and have a safe and cheap practice session. Practicing the stance/grip/front-site/breath/squeeze and follow-thru using these is almost as good as a trip to the range. You can improve your shooting while watching a movie! Well, minus the noise and recoil.

They are well built and work fine in a Springfield XD and a 1911. An excellent training tool for conditions of carry and operation of the weapon, especially going from condition zero to condition two. You don't want to practice decocking a 1911 with a live round in the pipe. Highly recommended; in fact, everybody with a .45 should have these.

I know that they are for dry firing, what I'm asking is how many dry fires can I get out of one snap cap? Are they reusable or one time shot sorry dry fire and they are no longer usable?
