I picked my 2012 SHOT Show item of the day. The EOTech XPS2-Z Zombie Edition EOTech red dot sight. Get this, instead of your typical red dot reticle, EOTech has replaced it with an illuminated red biohazard sign. Even those of us in the Cheaper Than Dirt office not into the slaying of zombies think that this EOTech is a total win. Once you see the holographic red biohazard dot, your inner video game nerd will drool a little.
The XPS2-Z also has a laser-etched biohazard sign on the top, a laser-etched zombie skull and the words “Zombie Stopper” on the side.
The zombiefied addition of the XPS2 has a 65 MOA circle and is parallax-free with unlimited eye relief. There are 30 brightness settings with scrolling feature. Like all EOTechs the XPS2-Z is submersible to 10’, has fogproof internal optics, and anti-glare lens coating. Build for the zombie apocalypse, your EOTech won’t fail you even in the harshest conditions.
Listed for $559 as the MSRP, the EOTech will set you back some bucks, but since its being release in April, you and I have plenty of time to save. The mission of Cheaper Than Dirt!’s blog, “The Shooter’s Log,” is to provide information—not opinions—to our customers and the shooting community.
