Optics maker Sellmark Corp. recently introduced three additions to its Sightmark lines: the H2000 Tactical Flashlight, the LoPro Green Laser, and Sightmark’s first 35mm scope.
The Sightmark H2000 Tactical Flashlight features Cree LEDs to provide 2000 lumens of light housed in a Type II mil-spec anodized aircraft grade aluminum shell for durability and protection against corrosion.
Jeff Murray, Sellmark’s VP of sales, said, “Sightmark observed the market demand for a compact high lumen output light that could still be affordable,” said Murray. “With the H2000 light we are able to offer an affordable high-lumen-output flashlight, while keeping the size small enough to mount on tactical firearms.”
Recoil resistant and waterproof, the Sightmark H2000 Tactical Flashlight comes with two rechargeable batteries, a battery recharger, a weapon mount, on/off push button, pressure switch, and green, red, and blue filters. The H2000 features two hours of continuous battery life, significant for a high-lumen light.
Sightmark’s first low-profile laser, the LoPro Green Laser, may be mounted in front of a riflescope without blocking the optic’s field of view. Designed to be mounted on a Picatinny or Weaver rail, the LoPro can also be mounted on the side of the quad rail. The laser is offset for clearing the front sight post.
“We wanted a military-inspired laser that features a more straightforward design,” said Jonathan Horton, Sightmark product developer. “We evaluated the design of military designators and eliminated several flaws of the overly complex systems to create a laser specifically designed for AR-15s.”
“The LoPro is the ultimate laser for the AR-15 platform and fits perfectly within the triple duty concept,” said James Sellers, president of Sightmark.
Featuring 1-MOA click-value adjustments, the hand-adjustable windage and elevation turrets allow the user to zero in the laser dot for close-range shooting. Visibility runs from 50 yards in the daytime to more than 600 yards at night.
The LoPro Green Laser is constructed of a high performance thermoplastic, so it is heat protected and corrosion resistant, waterproof, shockproof, and features a matte-black finish for tactical applications.
It takes one CR123 battery, which provides 27 hours of continuous use, and comes with Velcro strips so the pressure pad can be mounted anywhere for convenient activation. The LoPro comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
Sightmark’s Triple Duty 6-25×56 35mm Riflescope is the company’s first 35mm scope. Its fully multi-coated optics transmit a bright and crisp picture, and the one-piece 35mm tube has a 120-MOA adjustment range.
“This scope was designed for shooters taking long-range shots from 500 to 1,000 yards, who need a scope that has maximum minute-of-angle adjustment range and light transmission to dial in and make precision shots,” said Sellers.
The 35mm scope features ¼-minute clicks and an internally-lit glass-etched reticle. When we shot the scope, we noticed it works well in dusk and low-light conditions. Only the reticle is illuminated, creating contrast between the reticle and target. O-ring sealed and nitrogen purged, the 6-25×56 is both fogproof and water resistant.
This precision scope features a parallax-adjustment knob and oversized locking windage and elevation turrets. It’s available in duplex, circle dot, and mil-dot reticles.
