TAPCO displays their Interfuse rifle accessories and furniture for the top popular rifles, the AR-15, AK-74, Ruger 10/22, and the SKS so that you can see how the complete system looks on your rifle.
For the AR-15, all in the Dark Earth, TAPCO brings out the commercial T6 six-position collapsible stock, carbine locking plate (essential to assembling your stock), the vastly improved 5.56mm Gen II 30-round magazine, carbine handguard, the M249 Squad Automatic Weapon-inspired saw pistol grip, and a short vertical grip.
The 6-position T6 collapsible stock includes the stock, buffer tube, buffer, spring, castle nut, receiver end plate, and a sling swivel. It will fit the AR-15, M16, and M4 rifles. Made in the USA of all MIL-grade composite, it provides a solid platform when shooting.
The Gen II 30-round magazine in Dark Earth has the original magazine body as TAPCO’s Gen I AR-15 magazines, but a redesigned easier to load shape is quieter and smoother. The 17-7 stainless steel spring is also revamped, along with the follower.
TAPCO’s Intrafuse handguard includes four Picatinny rails and offers a 50 percent weight reduction over aluminum handguards. It covers bottom and side rails for true custom configurations. This particular handguard fits AR-15 and M4 carbine-length gas systems only.
TAPCO shows off the Intrafuse AK-74 30-round magazine in orange polymer with anti-tilt follower for 5.45x39mm ammunition and it counts as three U.S. 922r complaint parts. Another U.S. compliant part is the original style pistol textured grip made of military-grade composite. TAPCO’s AK-74 style muzzle brake also fits 7.62×39, 5.45x39mm, and .223 rifles. The muzzle brake fits M14x1 left-hand thread with an easy, screw-on installation. It is made in the USA of heavy-duty steel and a black phosphate finish.
TAPCO displays the SKS accessories and furniture in Dark Earth. To turn your traditional wood SKS rifle into a modern tactical rifle, the six-position glass-filled nylon M4-style style stock had a top handguard rail and bottom rails to attach lights and lasers. The stock counts as three U.S. Sec 922r complaint parts.
The dark earth polymer SKS magazine holds 20 rounds of 7.62x39mm ammo and fits all SKS variants that we know of. It is designed to fit the matching, dark earth polymer stock.
The short vertical grip and sling adaptor plug are also highlighted on this SKS.
TAPCO has placed the Ruger 10/22 Tactical Trainer stock, without the collapsible buttstock, a sling adaptor plug, and the standard vertical grip on this Ruger 10/22 with .920 heavy bull. The mission of Cheaper Than Dirt!’s blog, “The Shooter’s Log,” is to provide information—not opinions—to our customers and the shooting community.
