I have shot 300 rounds with my RIA 1911A1 with 0 failures, it is very clean and I get excellent grouping. I have tried other ammo and this is the best so far and the price is great. Other ammo I have used wolf and Blazer brass have had at least 20% FTF and the wolf was very dirty.

This is exellent ammunition. I used 1200 rnds of the 45ACP 230FMJ in my last class at Gunsite. It ran thru my Colt 1911 and thru my Glock 21 without a hitch. Very clean compared to Win White Box. Very cost effective and reliable.

Ok fellers my kimber sis don't mind it at all 99% OK. After 100+ rounds and dirty one miss-fed, I say excellent for an expensive toy. Now my pt-145 is about 50%, clean gun only fired 7 rouns and jammo... and later miss fired. 2 out of 50 miss fired and 4 jammed. OK for Kimber this time but not for Taurus PT-145.

This is some of the best .45 ammo I have fired. It performed flawlessly in both my Kimber Eclipse II and my Sig 220 without a single jam or problem after 400 rounds through each. Appears to be a slower burning round which makes for smooth , easy recoil resulting in faster target reacquisition between shots. Also is quite clean burning which results in easy clean up afterwards. For the price, you just couldn't ask for more and I plan to use it almost exclusively at the range from now on.

I've shot thousands of rounds of this ammo. 357,45,9mm. Never had a problem yet with it in Taurus,Kimber,CZ,Springfield XD. Must be the H&K that is the problem. Great price and is as accurate as most high priced ammo. Best part is, it's reloadable. I can save even more money by reloading it.

S&B is Some of the best, period.

I bought 1000 rounds of this ammo primarily because I like S&B and have for years because it is top notch ammo. It cost me $8.89 a box at that quantity, now look at the price and I bought it less than a year ago. One use to be able to buy the 5,56-45 SS-109 62 GR. Green Tip S&B also known as the M-855 ball ammo the US Military uses. A 20 round box would run about $4.50 to $5.00 a box, compare that to what people want for the XM-855 training ammo, I have not seen a box of it or IMI M-855 in two years for sale. Although I did just buy 25 box's of Sampson .223 55 GR FMJ Match Grade ammo made by I.M.I.at a pawn shop for $3 a box a few weeks ago, no it's not for sale or trade., On S&B ammo you will notice that on their Military type versus their hunting type ammo that the ballistics match those of any NATO cross marked ammo S&B has the bomb on it. For the price I will take the bomb any day over the cross in a circle. And folks word is ammo is about to be "dried up' so to speak and I have been told by three ammo dealers that ammo will double in price on commercial ammo next year and have been reading it a lot on the net from those who deal in ammo. Ammo at Walmart is $43 for the economy box of UMC 230 GR FMJ .45 100 rounds. Blazer Brass 230 GR FMJ .45 cal. by CCI/Speer at the same place was $9.89 for a box of 50 rounds. I bought 16 box's as I'm stocking up. Ammo is not going to get any cheaper only more and more expensive and many will rue the days they went out and shot 500 or 600 rounds at paper and tree's. I live in the South and we use ammo as money since we like our guns and with out ammo we have found out you can't protect your rights as well as our Fore Fathers intended.

I use S&B in my three so called "cheap" 45's and it never jams or misfires. And it's clean too. So all you guys with your Kimbers, Brownings, Custom jobs, etc can be assured it will function superbly in your over priced toys. And it is accurate too.

My Taurus loves it.

I've put a couple thousand rounds of this through my PT145 Millennum and have not had a single problem. My Baby Eagle struggles to empty a five shot range round and I have had nothing but problems with the S & B in that gun. The Taurus is my primary carry so I'm going to keep buying lots of these S & B for it. I spoon feed the BE on Hornady. The S & B is very accurate at realistic defensive carry distances. And the price is great.

Though I have never purchased this ammo directly from Cheaper Than Dirt myself, I feel it is still necessary to help spread the word about these excellent FMJ slugs. While looking for suitable ammo about a year ago I fell across S&B, and have never used anything else. Great product for the price - clean, accurate, and surprisingly affordable. I have since turned many friends onto it and they are just as satisfied. Highly recommended.

Seems to be good practice ammo after 200 rds. I like the painted red seal on the back of the primer cap as it makes reading how many rounds are left in my mag easier to see. Will report back later after a few hundred more rounds. Next to lowest price too. Definetly buy this over Wolf ammo any day.

Purchased some of this locally for a little more than here to try it out. It was accurate, and clean. The deposites left where easy to clean off, i'm off to join "the club" and order a case.

Odrer was here before expected. Have run about one box through my nearly new Kimber full-size .45 and so far casual shooting at cans tossed in yard at various distances from about 15 to 40-50 feet was no problem. Other "brand name" ammo gave same results at twice the price. Hope weather holds to go to range with proper targets & known lengths should reveal any BIG discrepanies, but my guess the S&B ammo will show well. For carry purposes I'll use the Hydra-Shok so as not to send a FMJ round through several walls of a house due to a miss. I do feel it is at worst it seems to be great practice ammo and on the other end of the scale, it may be damn near all 'ya need. I'll buy again as I know other who have gotten the S&B ammo (.223 mostly) from the Cheaper Than Dirt folks and love it in their AR's and such. Buy & Enjoy!

Awesome Ammo for the price! I own 3 Colt and 2 Kimber 1911 .45 ACP pistols. I took them all to the range and fed them this Sellier & Bellot ammo which before then I have never heard of. All my pistols cycled this ammo as good or better than the more expensive ammo that I am used to shooting. Very accurate, lets out a good and strong bang and I had no malfunctions whatsoever. Will definetly continue to buy and use in my pistols.

I have been using this ammo monthly for the last 6 years in a couple of double-stack high cap Para P-14's and I can easily say that in the 35 + full cases I have used in that time I have never had a single jam or misfire. Groups have always been consistantly in the .25 - .5" range with the .5" spread being rare (and probably shooter error). Clean up after a day at the range is also the easiest and cleanest of any other ammo brands I have used. S&B is my ammo of choice even in my club's IDPA and IPSC style events based on its accuracy and consitancy (sorry Federal).
